After playing Dragon Quest XI too much, I decided to all in. Posted: 23 Aug 2021 06:15 AM PDT Hi fellow Dragon Quest enjoyer; After playing DQ 11 more than 6 times in total (A Draconian 8 as my final run in S), I decided to discover a lot more about Dragon Quest. I never got really interested in this series before trying 11, but I have heard good things about it long time ago.As a RPG lover, I just decided to give a try with 11 while it was available on Steam back couple years ago, and just fell in love with the game, and most importantly, with the entire universe and joke that are all around the game (Puff Puff is one of them ofc.). The whole journey that the game gave me was just purely awesome. Here is what I'm talking about : https://imgur.com/a/W6MlUEc For people that are wondering, most of the titles I took were already used. ( 6 / 4 / 8 / 9 are used and not new.) And for others that would ask for how much I got everything, here is the summary : DQ 1;2;3 Switch (JP) : 40€. Yes, that was crazy, but I'm so happy to have everything in display for now, and I'm so ready to play them all and take my time to enjoy the most of them. And yes, I knew I could play it on Android, but I'm more interested by having the physical product than Digital, and I buy on steam only when I cannot get it from anything else. (DQ 11 wasn't out on Switch back then) As a Side-Funny Note : I don't have the Cable with the 2DS to boot it up. I didn't saw it's not part of the Box. So, another buy is coming. Thanks to all of you for reading, I'm so sorry if my grammar/vocabulary was atrocious, trying my best, as I am not native English; TL;DR : Wallet got critical hit. Just beat C*******, with seemingly nothing else to do besides side quests... Posted: 23 Aug 2021 09:00 AM PDT My life is empty. I have no purpose. Finishing this game was something never wanted to do. Truly the best video game I've ever played(emphasis on I). But wait, there's more? Apparently finishing all the Tickington quests will grant you the ability to fight an even harder boss. I only did like 2 quests during my playthrough, but would you guys say that doing this is a good way to add a couple hours to my playthrough? [link] [comments]

Share your memories and talk about the great times you remember, and it could be included in the episode! Credit will be given :D [link] [comments]
Which Dragon Quest games are most like Tickington from XI S? Posted: 22 Aug 2021 08:19 PM PDT I'm really digging the Tickington quests in Dragon Quest XI S (which is my first game in the series) and I love the 16-bit art style. What games in the series play like this? For instance, the Famicom remasters of I-III? Or are some of the later games more of the inspiration for the way Tickington quests play out? I loved Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, the two 16-bit Final Fantasy we got in the US, etc. but never played any of the Dragon Quest games until now. But Tickington has got me really wanting to play some of the older games in the series. Any recommendations for the best game or two in the series that really nail that 16-bit aesthetic the way Tickington does? [link] [comments]

Should I restart with Super Strong monsters or just finish this run.. DQXI Posted: 22 Aug 2021 07:45 PM PDT I'm only at where the outer sea opened up and fought the squid boss I don't know if I'll want to play again if I go on and finish.. its fun but on the other hand its so easy Im not feeling much rush from victory, and dont feel like my choices are as important. I like the chill aspect means you can spec however and not worry but yeah.. anyone had a similar experience? [link] [comments]

Falcon Earring knives ,where do I find them ? Posted: 22 Aug 2021 02:27 PM PDT I wanna get some Falcon earing knives for Erik and or Sylvando.I have them both dual weilding now with daggers.I want two things, first where to find these knives and also other more powerful daggers. I've gotten post Yggdrassil, made the sword of light and I'm going for Mordigen's lair soon. But I wanna get more powerful before I face Indignus (I ran and loaded like a coward lol). Anyway I'm mostly farming now and trying to get more powerful stuff.(what level should I be to face Mordigan?). I heard you can get tge knives in Puerto Valor. Is this true? Anywhere else?Or could I make them? [link] [comments]
Malicious Auroral Serpent is stupid Posted: 22 Aug 2021 02:03 PM PDT I've gotten him into the red zone of his health three times now with a full team, and then he just f*ckin shouts and 3/4 or everyone on my team trips on their toes, giving him 5-6 attacks to kill half my team. Then while i'm trying to revive people because i'm stubborn and i want at least the luminary and erik to gain experience everyone either gets paralyzed or trips again, get wiped and leave me with one or two people left that really can't do anything so i just game over.(I have the the whole team kabuffed, and i'm level 69 (nice) i've been able to do all the other post game stuff so far, only have hotto left i believe so i don't feel like level's an issue, this tripping is just really stupid and i had to say it) [link] [comments]
Any Dragon Quest 3 (GBC) tips? Posted: 22 Aug 2021 12:03 PM PDT So i started a new game. I went the initial town im in tells me to get west to the tower, i explore there for a while, after about an hour of playing I do some research and i feel like an idiot not knowing you're suppose to recruit a party. I do some research and finally create a decent group. Problem is they're pretty week, i've been grinding them for an hour and I keep hitting dead ends in the tower, im not sure if im suppose to explore more or grind. My team feels a bit too weak to venture out but im not sure what to do. Any general tips? This game feels daunting ... [link] [comments]
Is the orchestal mod for dq11 now obsolete? Posted: 22 Aug 2021 06:28 PM PDT I hear the definitive edition changes it from the original from what I've heard pretty bad midi soundtrack to an improved orchestral one so is there any reason to download this mod or is it even better than the one the definitive edition has, thanks [link] [comments] |
