Posted: 11 Sep 2021 05:09 AM PDT Hi everyone, There's something I've never understood in DQ3 although I've already finished the game: do you really need to have a Merchant in your team to get the description of - even the most basic - items? For instance, even for Antidote Herbs or Medicinal Herbs, the only pieces of information the game gives me is that they "disappear when used", without mentioning they restore HP / cure poison. Do I really need to have a Merchant in my team and use the "Show" command to get the basic pieces of information that are given "for free" in DQ1 & DQ2? I'm playing the Android version of the game but I'm interested to know if all DQ3 versions are equal about this. Thanks in advance for sharing knowledge! [link] [comments]

HELP PLEASE: No weapons on anyone game first town dq7 3ds I messed up bad Posted: 11 Sep 2021 06:09 AM PDT Ok so what happened was I bought as much armor for Maribelle as I could and 😆 it helps she's the only one that takes zero damage 🤣 However I didn't take into account how fast early towns transition from one to another with new equipment ranks and pricing and viability So I'm terrified I've forgotten how it goes as I am in the first town of Mayberry or whatevs it's called will Maeve help us level up or rather just form for gold cuz it's a serious struggle when none have weapons equipped [link] [comments]
How are the Snes versions of the games? Posted: 10 Sep 2021 09:10 PM PDT Hi, I'm trying to get into Dragon Quest so I want to play all the games from I to XI and I was wondering if the Snes versions are good enough to start with [link] [comments]
DQ 9 Jobs and which skills to invest in and which not to invest in Posted: 10 Sep 2021 06:34 PM PDT the guide kind of gave the best weapons for each class: whips - minstrel, because they are supported; I went a separate route I put no skills into swords but used swords till I reached coffinwell where I got a fan and am gonna alchemize a whip (so my combo is a whip, fan) for attention to be on my minstrel and high avoid with fan swords - no warrior yet cuz I feel it is inferior (for now) to the pure damage of the martial artist wands - priest ok I get it why later on in the game but for early nuh-uh heck no (so I went for pure spear skills for now and have to be honest he does a very good job this way so far, the main reason for spears though cuz metal slimes cuz I feel mastering spears and axes as quick as possible is, in my opinion, the best thing you can do) *also might give some staff skills for evasion wands - mage, ok I did do this but begrudgingly because I love Jessica and Ashlynn but gotta do what you gotta do, anyways excuse my fanboying (so I went for a combo of wands and knives for those extra status ailments since I do not have thief yet) and some raw damage when she somehow gets the living mp sucked out of her lol I forgot (thief) but as far as I know, I think they make everything viable claws - martial artist, I feel that's generic so I wanted to put my own little flair on it, don't get me wrong the suggested stuff all makes sense but I love creative and fresh gameplay anyways I went for focus, staff, and fans cuz female MA looks beautiful with fan jk I love the dodgy abilities, but I do know I need to get flailing nails for metal slimes [link] [comments] |
