    Is one big homage to dq, down to literally referring to it by name within the first 10 minutes. But I just finished up post game for dqxi and picked this up on sale off the psn and it is super worth checking out if you love the dq series.

    Let's Celebrate Dragon Quest Reddit Getting Over 60k Subscribers!

    I know this is real late and all and were not at 65k on this reddit and rising subscribers. But I didn't see anything on this and wanted to celebrate DQ reddit having over 60k! 2 years ago this reddit had over 10k and now look at it now, how has it been watching this subreddit grow? Dragon Quest has gotten a lot more mainstream worldwide as of late, we can thank Hero in Smash and Dragon Quest XI for that. It makes tons of modern RPG top lists of the new age of games, Dragon Quest XI. And Dragon Quest XI S is highly rated as a definitive game for DQ XI, an already amazing game on its own but now with tons of content added. DQ XI just made it to Xbox Game Pass which is huge for the west and was released for PS4 consoles and PC for XI S and people love it on all platforms even if some complain on some of the graphics taking a hit on it being the Switch port. And of course the Switch remaster was amazing and a great game and addition with all the added content as well. The Demo has been a great decision and doing very well on all platforms and got new people into the series that wouldn't have tried otherwise, and now there fans for life. So yeah at this point DQ XI and Dragon Quest is a success worldwide and will only rise in popularity from here, and this subreddits sub count shows and further reflects that. So congratulations DQ! You've come a long way.

    What do you guys think of the sub so far and it making it to over 60k? Its on its way to a 100k now in time for the 35th anniversary, I think the hype next year and announcements can help it get to 100k next year soon but we'll see if it hits it then or not. It might, who knows.

    I already know how to do it for theives and wizard/pilgrim due to an reddit post but how do I get it on other characters like a fighter or a goof off or merchant or warrior?

    Hey there,

    This is my first DQ game, and when I first started I didnt have any draconian quests turned on. the game was way too easy, if there is no difficulty then it might as well be an rpg on rails. So I restarted right after Erik joins the party to turn on stronger mobs...

    Now I'm pretty much caught up, just had Erik join my party, go to fight a bodkin archer, and they 3 shot my party members... now that I've had my first wipe, I wanted to go ahead and ask you fine folks about some tips you might have.

    Currently my party is low level of course, but I cant even grind levels because of the human genocide at the hands of bodkin, so does anyone have some tips for playing (what is basically) hard mode? So far it's either too easy or too difficult and it's a bit discouraging.

    Does anyone know the name of the track used in chateaux felix? or where I can find it, I assumed it was from 8s OST but couldnt find it. Any help is appreciated.
