Posted: 13 Oct 2021 06:40 AM PDT It's recommended to take a Mage, Warrior and Cleric. I chose Thief, Thief and Dealer. I wanted to make the game more grindy and I like the idea of two Thief twins (I named them Goodie and Law). Do you guys take the less-beaten path too? I think it's fun to add little challenges to fairly simple games, figured I would like role-playing two twin thieves and their merchant father. What other weird parties have you guys played with? Do you always have to grind before Baramos? Posted: 13 Oct 2021 08:19 AM PDT I've beaten the game before so no worries about spoiling anythig. On my second playthrough of DQ3. I actually haven't touched it in a few weeks because of this frustration so I apologize as I can't provide specifics about my party makeup. I'm only asking this in a general sense, anyway. Do you always need to grind before the fight with Baramos? I got to him fairly easily with absolutely no grinding and I was having a grand old time doing it. Got to him and I'm just decimated. I recognize that he should be a tough fight but how quickly he destroys me just comes out of nowhere, I am so thoroughly unprepared for his trashing. Like I said, I've beaten the game before so I have beaten him and I know the strategies, I'm just kind of bummed the strategies alone aren't enough when they have been up to this point. So that's my question: has anyone here ever beat Baramos WITHOUT grinding once the reached him? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Should I play DQ 9 or DQ 11 first? Posted: 13 Oct 2021 12:55 AM PDT Hellou, I want to get into playing dragon quest after playing Dragon Quest Builders 2 on the switch. Now I searched for suggestions on how to get into the franchise and most recommendations were pointing to Dragon Quest 9 for DS. But with DQ12 coming out soon, I'm not sure I'll be able to play through 9 and 11 until it's released (assuming I really like the games). What do you think, which one should I buy first, 9 or 11? Posted: 12 Oct 2021 05:26 PM PDT In Rimuldar I'm able to buy magic keys for 16 and sell them for 26, can I just get a constant profit if I keep doing this? Lol [link] [comments]
which dq game has your favourite music? Posted: 12 Oct 2021 10:57 AM PDT i've just noticed dq4 changes the world map music depending on who you put at the front of line-up this shit rules [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Oct 2021 04:20 PM PDT So, first of all, if I understand correctly, the luminary goes back in time to save the world before the big bad guy ruins everything. We are told that only we can travel back, and it's set up in a way, where it seems like we create a whole new timeline, more than just erasing the old. Here's the confusing part.. later on in the game, while trying to restore our hometown, if you party talk to Hendrik in hekswood, he'll say "The beast we vanquished had defended the kingdom against the witch for centuries". That seems quite odd to me, since we just traveled back in time, to a point before he joined our team. Why would he say "we", if only the luminary traveled back? I've noticed this with a few other NPC's, and how they seem to have this weird feeling when seeing us, which again, seems quite weird, when only we went back. I am either insanely high, or there's more to it than just us creating a new timeline, and I need someone to confirm which one is true! [link] [comments]
What is the Level requirement to fight Mordegon? Posted: 12 Oct 2021 01:01 PM PDT In DQ11, I'm at the part where after making the Sword of Light and now I can go and defeat Mordegon. But I've been doing other quests and grinding at Mt. Huji before I go so I can be level 50 or 51. So far, I have these characters. Me: 48 Serena: 47 Hendrick: 48 Erik: 48 Sylvando: 48 Jade: 47 Rab: 47 [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Oct 2021 05:30 PM PDT How does it work? I memorized a few sentences and then forgot how to do it (can't figure out for the life of me how to do it again). [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Oct 2021 11:02 AM PDT This may sound real stupid but as someone new to the series i am having issues grasping the.. timeline.. of games. What i gather is 11 is a prequel to 3...? But i cannot find an official timeline that spells it out (im kind of dumb lol) Basically what im asking is what order do the main series games fall into? From everything ive read its like a kingdom hearts/Zelda situation [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Oct 2021 11:55 AM PDT Instead of Baby Shark, do Baby Slime Goo Goo Gooo. I would do it myself, but I am like Ben Affleck and I have no talent. [link] [comments]
