    We really need Switch ports of the DS Zenithian trilogy

    The Zenithian trilogy games stand out as some of the best entries in the series, and yet at the moment there is no definitive way to play them. On one hand, playing them on a console is obviously preferable to playing them on mobile. On the other hand, obtaining physical copies of these games on DS is ridiculously expensive these days. Moreover, the mobile ports added a few sorely needed features and revisions:

    • DQ4's mobile port added fully translated party chat. I don't think I need to explain why this is a massive enhancement, and the exclusion of party chat is a huge black mark on the original release.
    • DQ5's mobile port added an item to increase the (ridiculously low) monster recruitment rates as a casino reward.
    • DQ6's mobile port removed the need for multiplayer in order to recruit the Suite Dream slimes before the final boss. I believe it also buffed Terry slightly, which is a welcome change.

    As somebody who grew up with and loves this trilogy, I would absolutely purchase an eShop re-release of these games, with all the aforementioned features. This seems like a no-brainer, and I doubt it would be that much work to do. My only concern would be Square Enix releasing a rushed version with visuals based on the mobile ports, like the remakes of the Erdrick Trilogy.

    Also, a HD port of 8 with the added 3DS content would be nice, but one thing at a time...

    Hi! So, i am about to finish DQ XI and I'd like to play some others. When i looked some stuff up, I decided that I'll wait for 12 and the remake of 3. The thing is, i read that 1-3 are a trilogy that you should play in order. Is that true? Thanks!

    Thinking about doin a full draconian quest run of DQXI sometime soon, any tips?

    My only "challenge" runs I've done on this game are tougher monsters and a 100% run. This is the switch version and I plan to at least attempt all bosses.

    Is there any way to get subtitles of the Japanese lines?

    I beat the game with the English dialogue originally and was curious to see what the differences were for my second play-through, so I switched to Japanese. However, even with my limited Japanese knowledge of like five words, the subtitles are still very clearly the changed English lines rather than an accurate translation of whatever they're saying in Japanese. Is there any way to get the correct ones to display?
