    I know you can see monsters on the map now, but I mean do you gain xp/gold at a faster rate/have reduced xp requirements per level? SE is in a habit of making most of their remaster of FF games the easiest versions, and I'm wondering if they did that here too.

    Dw7 class question

    Gonna go through dw7 (ps1) I already went through dq7 (3ds) but I know there were some slight changes to the class system in between releases.

    Can I get a quick character class optimum list? Like which one to go to on what character

    Major tips for last boss on dragon quest 6?

    Hey everyone, so I'm on the last boss and have been very frustrated. I'm able to get to phase 3 every time, but I'm not able to defeat it. All my party is level 40. My main is HERO class on mastering 6-7, Carver is gladiator (Max) and Milly and Nevan are max sage.

    What do you guys recommend. I've tried like 5 times and grinded in between but just can't beat it.

    I'm losing hope :(

    Been a square Enix fan ever since I was 5 and loved them from kingdom hearts. Was born in 2000s so don't know anything about dq but always had an interest since along with final fantasy and chrono trigger dragon quest was the legendary series for them. So wanted to know if I can start with the first 3 dqs on switch. Thanks in advance

    People playing DQ Walk, are you having this issue after updating?

    Let me preface this by explaining that I have been playing Dragon Quest Walk for the past 3 weeks or so, having downloaded it through Qooapp on the Bluestacks 5 emulator. Other than having to change my location regularly in order to play the game, everything ran smoothly for me. No crashes, minor jumpiness, basically perfect gameplay.

    Earlier today, I was prompted that an update for the game was available and asked to download it before continuing to play. Naturally, I install the update. However, when I tried to launch the game afterwards, I was greeted with the following error:

    I tried looking up any kind of solution (restarting Bluestacks, restarting my computer, reinstalling DQW, reinstalling Bluestacks in 64-bit instead of 32-bit, swapping over to my laptop and trying the same steps) but nothing worked to fix the issue. And when I tried to look up similar issues, I'd either get results for posts about DQ Tact, which weren't even slightly related to what I was looking for, or people having the same issue 8 months ago with no real resolution.

    One of the post I found about the error said that it might be caused by the devs putting anti-emulator detection into the app. I hope that isn't the case, as I really enjoy this game, but I'm not finding enough information to determine if I'm the only one having this problem.

    If there are any other people here who play Dragon Quest Walk, have you already/started running into this error and, if so, were you able to resolve it?

    Does DQXI get better?

    I just got to Gondolia after beating the Slayer of the Sands which was quite a tough battle. My party is hovering around level 18 and I've got the stronger monsters Draconian Quest turned on.

    My complaints so far:

    • Stronger monsters quest is a bit too difficult. I end up just grinding at every town/camp until I feel confident to keep going. This has turned the game into a chore but I feel like I'm in too deep and if I turn it off, the game will become too easy.

    • I feel like the character builder doesn't encourage experimentation. Skill points are gained very sparingly and it's tough deciding what to spec the party members into. I just got dual wielding on Erik and am a bit disappointed he's not dealing more damage with two poison moth knives. I know that you can respec at the prayer statue but it's a bit expensive when you lose half your gold every time you die.

    • Now that I have Sylvando I feel hesitant to try him out because of the reasons above. It seems likes more of an all around character but I'm not sure how to spec him either.

    • I've played for about 25 hours and feel like I've barely scratched the surface. I hope that it's a good thing but I'm not sure.

    • Crafting items on the mini forge was useful in the beginning but it seems like I keep leveling up my crafting with no new recipes.

    • I find myself being lazy with monster encounters in the overworld, so then I end up forcing myself to fight every monster and it turns into a total slog. Whenever you travel to a new area it's like an hour minimum of just fighting things along the way.

    Am I playing wrong? Does it get better? Let me know.

    I like Dragon Quest so the simplicity of the battle system isn't turning me off.

    What's your favorite Dragon Quest spin off series all games of that series included. Also do you think any of them should get a remake or a sequel?
