There are people interested in Dragon quest X who dunno how to play? Posted: 19 Feb 2021 04:52 AM PST Hey, im a big fan of DQ series, so after some time thinking about it i decided to go up into dragon quest X Its a damn good mmorpg, funny, different, lovely, i followed all the dragons den forum guides, i joined their clan, and i been playing having a good time. But the procces to install was hard, following old tutorials from wii, or 2014 not actualized tutorials about the square enix account, so i finished doing a whole different procces, with different steps Actually im able to play game while automatically translating all dialogues to spanish, and i have made some youtube guides step by step to install and play, and to auto translate all Im just willing to know if the comm still wishing to play and autotranslate but dunno how, because i have read tons of post in this subreddit without the answers that i finally was able to get by myself Im gonna let these tutorials down here, but them on spanish because of being my native language, i know is first time someone explains in spanish and may b helpfull now or in 2 years but, idk if there are actually english talkers interested on playing the game that didnt were able and still interested, in that case i would traduce everything, or directly record on english to explain Install, create account, vpn and play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AwcfBwwqdY&t=57s Autotranslate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7N-sOgdGEY&t=1s In case u can use spanish tutorial and this is helpfull to you, im so glad and tysm In case u cant but u interested on playing dragon quest X and never been able, lemme know so i make a fast guide step by step actualised on 2021 to play thanks for reading, idk if this is a good or bad idea, actually just wishing to help cause im damn motivated by this game Have a nice day u all! Using seeds to completely max stats Posted: 19 Feb 2021 07:41 AM PST Has anyone achieved a maximum stat level on their characters using seeds? I assume the max level is 999. I've already maxed out on all the skills. Now I'm curious to see if anyone has tried and if it reaches a point where increasing the stat further doesn't actually change anything [link] [comments]

Dragon Quest V DS Anti Piracy Measures Posted: 19 Feb 2021 09:42 AM PST So the infamous endless ship voyage happens at the start of this game (i.e. the ship never reaches the docks) if you're playing it on an R4 card. If you were to play past this point on an emulator and then transfer a save over, is there further anti piracy measures later on? I've played official copies of IV, VI and IX, but V is impossible to find where I live and copies of it online cost double what it did at launch. I know I could play the mobile version , and have paid for it, but I prefer the DS form factor so I was hoping this would work ^_^ [link] [comments]
Should i use stronger monsters AND reduced exp or just stronger monsters? Posted: 19 Feb 2021 05:34 AM PST I usually dont go outta my way to grind in games BUT i do usually kill every monster i see/thats in my way on the way to the next objective. Would that lead to me being overleveled? I was thinking of doing both strong monsters and reduced exp so as to not be overleveled but i also dont wanna have that moment of "oh cool a new metal slime in a new area, kill it, 0xp". I know about the weird pep power exploit but id rather not have to use that to grind? Should i just use stronger monsters? Will i still have a challenge? [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Feb 2021 09:18 AM PST So, long story short, Erdrea's not in its best position at the moment and I just got Sylvando on the team. I was told to go to Arboria- and Zwaardsrust by Rab- but I decided to try and reclaim all my Zoom spots and started with Gondolia. Right now, I've just reached Gallopolis where Erdwin's lantern is about tocome crashing down upon it and I'm just wondering: If I went to Arboria or anywhere else to get a character first, would the cutscene when you enter the kingdom (with Hero, Rab, Hendrick, and Sylvando) be different in any way? Or do you just... Not get any of your lost teammates before going here? And if there IS an alt. cutscene, would it be the same case for other places after this? [link] [comments]

Posted: 18 Feb 2021 07:18 PM PST Famicom and NES are the original releases. SNES was the first remake and is somewhat considered to be the prettiest one thanks to the sprite work as well as animations, and also features an extra dungeon and the pachisi track. You get more exp and money when compared to the original game. Never officially localised, but fan-translated. GBC is based on the SNES remake - downgrades the graphics and sound to the capabilities of the system, making it quite pretty still. Features monster medals, animated sprites, the extra dungeon (and I think even another one?) and the pachisi track. Got an official localisation, with some VERY BIG LETTERS, and quite good text despite the difficulties of cramming much text into a small text box. Mobile versions are based on the SNES remake, however feature less enemy sprite animations and no extra dungeon, no monster medals and no pachisi track. Has arguabily the best localisation DQ3 has ever gotten; there's different accents based on where the city is located and it shows a ton of care put into it. Also adheres to the modern item and abilitiy nomenclatures. Being on mobile may be a minus for some, however, it's extremely comfortable to play. Switch version is based on the mobile versions, which had been ported to the 3DS and PS4 beforehand but those versions were never released in English. Features buttons controls and the latest localisation; features the original extra dungeon but no pachisi track or monster medals. However... sprites are horrible, don't mesh well with the backgrounds, and the animated enemies have been replaced with static images. Guess you really can't always win, right? So, all of those things considered... what of those versions do you consider it to be the best one? What is your favourite? I guess DQ3 is great no matter where or how you play it, but there's bound to be favourites. Mine, however popular this may be, is the mobile one. I know it has its downsides, but I just found it to be the most enjoyable to play and I loved the modern localisation. Dragon Quest games being portable really do make a ton of difference to me. It seems like the SNES is one of the most loved ones. Any who've played it can say anything about its fan translation? Is the fan translation good? I remember trying a bit of it back on the 1.0 version, but I had been finding bugs which somehow put me off a little (I remember one where my save file name disappeared, if I'm not mistaken). Posted: 18 Feb 2021 09:02 PM PST title covers it. I feel in DE when I want a certain time frame, I can rest and stay in it for a while to accomplish what I want. Regular it's changing every other minute it feels. [link] [comments]
Do you think Sylvando (DQ11) is gay/homosexual? Posted: 19 Feb 2021 07:21 AM PST I swear to god Sylvando seems very feminine and "fruity" to me and I just need to see if other people think the same thing [link] [comments]

Posted: 19 Feb 2021 12:46 AM PST A long time goal of my friend and I has been to play DQIX together without having to be in the same room! (Since we moved away after high school and COVID) and today we succeeded in making it work on an Emulator from our PCs. I was in his world using a variety of Apps. Stay tuned we're planning to make a YouTube series of our Wi-Fi DQ9 multiplayer series and explaining how we did it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Feb 2021 05:12 PM PST SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED. Hi yall, just finished what I believe is the end of my first play-through of DQ11 on Xbox One (after about 187 Hours), all my party is maxed at LVL 99, I've defeated Calasmos, I've done all the trials. As far as I'm aware all I have left is the Tickington quests, leftover side quests, complete the bestiary, the Secret Trial for the wheel of Harma, also haven't acquired all the items in the game and haven't made everything on the fun size forge. Anything else I'm missing? Also is there any way to make calasmos disappear from the sky even after beating him or does he just stay in perpetuity? Overall though, super impressed with the game, really enjoyed the traditional JRPG gameplay and thought the story was great (I haven't played much Dragon Quest other than DQIX when I was in elementary school.)
