    Was not prepared for the dark skeletons in DQ1

    In a grind before taking on the final boss equipped with all the best equipment in the game. A dark skeleton took me from 131 health to 10 by dodging all my attacks before landing a crit and killing it.

    Anyone else got any funny experiences like this?

    Dragon Quest 12 "WILL BE TURN BASED"

    Yuji Horii literally said that fans would still feel at home with DQ12. He never said that DQ12 wouldn't be turn based, just that it would be different. It's sad that some people are already going out of their way to let other people know that they won't be buying DQ12 despite the fact that all we know about the game is a small interview that gives minimal information and NEVER says DQ12 won't be turn based.

    P.S. Sorry if this comes off as a rant, it's not meant to.

    I love how Dragon Quest brings back monsters and items from previous games, the nostalgia and grin in my face when i found the cautery sword from DQ4! waaay back when i played DQ4 DS, memories!

    I've only played DQI, VIII, and XI before this. I'm really amazed by some of the interesting story quirks that were present in a game that originally came out in 1990. The final battle was really satisfying too! It could have been quite a challenge, but I recognized some of the mechanics that were also present in certain XI boss fights.

    Also, I was made aware that there's some post-game content. How long is it, and is it worth playing? 🤔 I kinda want to just jump into DQV ASAP!

    Finally finished dragon quest 5! What an amazing game I finally got through. Now, I see why a lot of DQ fans adore this game. So, many feels!

    One of the best games i have every played even tho i had my problems it topped dq4 for me even tho i enjoyed dq4 more the story really held it this is my third dq game i played 8 and 4 now i my next stop is going to be either 11 or 9
