    So I'm playing DQV for the first time right now and the party chatting with Nera after I restored her and taking a trip so she'd be up to par with the rest of the family, a kinda, second Honeymoon. So anyways as I party chat with her I'm noticing that aside from the obvious wishing to have been there for her children and the random love bombs, she's kinda sassy? Like she'll regularly make smartass comments comments about situations that Hero Daddy puts himself in or the weird things Hero Daddy does occasionally. Like when we try to talk to a sleeping person and you can just feel her thinking ,"My Darling's a weirdo."

    So considering my interactions so far with her I can describe her as sweet, kind, modest, beautiful and Sassy little Great Sabrecat(if you know you know)

    Dragon Quest has the best music I've ever heard in any game series, ever. I might be biased because I started with VIII and grew up with the others, but holy SHIT. I'm playing V rn and I'm blown away by how many bangers there are. If only there were a DQ symphony orchestra like there was for FF and Zelda

    I’m playing dragon quest 6 and need to vent about how I’m hating it

    Before I say anything, I don't hate the game at all, I hate what I'm going through in game and my anger at myself is making me blind with rage.

    I'm supposed to go to murdaws keel and whip his ass. From Sonia to this point I'd a long long time without being able to save.

    I'm playing on mobile and luckily there's an auto save right before the entrance to his keep.

    This guy whipped my ass when I fought him and the save goes soooo far back. So I quit the game and restarted from my auto save. I beat him my next try and then put my phone down in joy and made something to eat. Came back and the game was shut down and my auto save at that point is gone and I'm back to my original save.

    I know this is nothing crazy but I'm so frustrated I just had to vent. Sorry

    Edit - went back and beat the dungeon. Sorry for my vent session

    I know this issue has been raised before but nothing seemed to work. I still CANNOT get hero out of the silly dancing mode. I've tried EVERYTHING to no avail. I can't out the costume on the equipment page . I tried discarding the Mardi Gras costume but it wouldn't let me. Can someone at least tell me how long I have to put up with the dancing. The only relief I get is when I put him on the horse. I'm desperate, it's spoiling the game 🙀

    While I think its kind of neat and adds complexity to the game, in some ways I think the personality system in the super famicom/GBC version also felt somewhat cumbersome and unnecessary. I think it would be nice if the remake had the option whether to utilize them or not. I think it would be nice if each class had a clearly defined set of numbers from the start and you didnt have to go to the trouble of choosing the personality each time

    Mortamor is brutal

    Is this the hardest DQ boss? So far, nothing has been too challenging (of course, the remakes always make these games easier, and I'm playing the mobile port which probably does so even further), including his castle of doom, but holy shit.

    It was like watching a sports movie about loveable, scrappy underdogs, no chance in the final game, playing on the opponent's home turf, taking heavy losses, swapping in unproven pinch hitters, when all the sudden the cheers, the fans, the camaraderie of the team lifts them up, they find leaves in their pockets they forgot they left there, something that could change the tide,

    and then they all die.

    Boy is this guy tough!

    Help - Dragon Quest 11 Question

    So when you finished the Faris questline, and it turns out the rain bough has been sold, he gives you a crossbow and a ring (I think?), that says it should draw monster towards you for better xp gain.

    I missed the name, and can't find anything matching that description in my inventory? Could anyone help me out.

    Edit. Thanks, I'm dumb. I wasn't paying much attention. I thought he gave you a ring that attracted monsters towards you, but it was just the crossbow.

    Dragon Quest XI! Hard mode. Can somebody help me out?

    Hey guys! Am I right in thinking the hard mode is on the title screen when you create a name? And it's under 'stronger monsters?'

    I was just wondering how hard this is in terms of RNG? I've heard some mixed reviews. (As is usually the case when it comes to difficulty settings.) But can someone confirm whether or not the 'hard mode' can be 'countered' so to speak with enough preparation?

    Dragon Quest III (Switch) Class Change Question

    Having finished the Final Fantasy I-III Pixel Remasters and now doing III 3D Remake while waiting for IV Pixel Remaster to come out.I also decided with the help of my new Switch Lite to play through the Dragon Quest Games,having finished I and II,I am currently going through III now. I have already reached All Trades Abbey and acquired the Words of Wisdom,I just got to grind a couple more levels to get Oomph before I go to fight Orochi.

    My Party is the following

    Hero

    Thief

    Priest

    Mage

    Here the class changes I am thinking of

    Hero

    Thief>Martial Artist (mostly to keep their agility high but keep them more useful while waiting to get 2nd Words of Wisdom)l>Sage(2nd Words of Wisdom)

    Priest>Martial Artist (Trying to figure out when to make the change)

    Mage>Sage (After acquiring Oomph)

    How does this sound,does it look good or would you make any changes?

    I not really planning on farming seeds this is mostly for the main game and being strong and viable for the post game dungeon and boss.

    DQX on Switch: followed all instructions exactly but headbutting the wall

    I'm attempting to set up DQX on the Switch and losing all my hair trying.

    According the multiples guides, I'm meant to:

    1) Set up a Japanese SE account;

    2) Set up Japanese Nintendo account. Download DQX on Switch using said account;

    3) Use VPNExpress to set Tokyo IP. Use Laptop connected to VPN to provide a hotspot

    4) Connect Switch to the laptop VPN hotspot

    5) Run DQX. Sign into SE account in menu

    After that I get the dreaded 100-106 'Region locked' error. I've combed Google and have found only 1 person with the same problem back in May 2021 but no solution.

    Any help appreciated. Feel like I've read everything I can about this and have zero answers

    Details wanted for the NPC's monsters offered for Breeding in Dragon Warrior Monsters 1

    I can't find any detailed information on the NPC's monsters that are offered for breeding, such as Teto's Iceman, Mick's Lizardman, the Warrior's Catfly, etc. Mostly just looking to see what extra moves they possess. Anything else like their level, gender or stats, is a bonus. Can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction? Thanks
