| A few questions about ACT 3 (WITHOUT SPOILERS!) (Dragons Quest XI) Posted: 07 Aug 2021 08:35 AM PDT Hey! Im at the beginning of ACT 2 in Dragons Quest XI Definitive Edition. I just cleared the purple sky. I heard ACT 3 is kind of an endgame, and it doesnt contain much story, character development or cutscenes. Im really sad because im enjoying the game A LOT. Probably ACT 2 is long as well so the game still has tons of things left, but still. How is ACT 3 compared to previous acts? Please dont say anything about the story because im not there yet. | What level should I be for the lord of shadows Posted: 07 Aug 2021 08:50 AM PDT I'm on my 2nd save file, and I can't remember what level I was on on my main when I crushed his skull in and now the opposite is happening I can't even get to mordragon [Currently main party is Luminary, Erik, Hendrik, and Rab, this is the party I had on my main so I know it works II Levels: Luminary-45 Erik-45 Hendrik-45 Rab-46 and all my standby party is level 47] I control Erik on the first turn to set up mountain mover instead of boulderbringer but the rest of the time I control Luminary [link] [comments] | ||

I cut out the music, let only the sound effects and voices, and put some Lord of The rings ambient and music in the background . This was so amazing I nearly cried, for real (I was kinda stoned af too lmao) Im actually happy the music is not that great in this game now, aha. | Posted: 06 Aug 2021 11:22 PM PDT Hey all, playing my first dq game right now in dq11. I've been playing rpgs since '97, just never dq. I'm currently collecting colored orbs. Think I've got like 4 or 5 of them. Nothing in this game has grabbed me yet. I honestly hate the silent protagonist. Feels like a missed opportunity. I dislike the voice acting for erik, sylvando, veronica and serena. I should've turned on strong monsters but it's too late now. Not redoing all that. The story right now is extremely bare bones. My main question is: does it start to pick up after you collect all the orbs? I really need something intriguing to keep me going. I have zero questions right now other than where is gemma and why doesn't the luminary care about her. Sorry to bring negativity here. I know this game is loved, I'm just not feeling it.
