    Took y’all’s advice and started to give DQ11 a whirl. Loving it so far. The first city you get to was really immersive at night time. Felt like a kid again

    I just want to add something, but the old posts for this topic are already archived and I can't make any comments.
    A particular track called With Sadness in Heart from VII is indeed used for Dragon Quest XI. The particular moment when this track played is after you defeat Arachtagon and the moment of Vince Vanquish's redemption.

    ps! before someone says both are in 720p and 30 fps for handheld- yeah but with graphic settings you could really crank things up on the steam deck- draw distance, textures, shadows etc.

    Its been something on my mind for awhile now, even before 11 released. As a person thats on the older side of life, I realize theres no one to pass these games off to. Say I did hang on to them until I croaked what then for them? Thrown in the trash? Bury them with me? Since those I know personally would probably go the first route.

    So Im right there now on ready to pull that trigger to sell them. I just listed on my account the games and books I have. I wont price them just yet though as I want to put pictures with them. Im also a fair guy but not a pushover. I think to be fair to you the people of this subreddit, you should have first dibs. I will go through ebay on all of them to cover you and me on both sides of the transactions. I used to do person to person selling but thats for another day of story telling. If anyone here comes to an agreement with me on price then we can talk about when said items get posted so they can get it before anyone else sees it.

    Also sorry mods if this isnt allowed I looked at your rules and the only thing this really does fall under is #7 maybe #8 if I can figure that puzzle out like DW7 beginner puzzle.

    We have a discord, were not many since the global version closed but we are welcoming to new players and have some handy guides and are generally helpful where we can.

    If youre intrested in a dragon quest themes gacha with lots of content then this is for you.

    Next big event is supposedly a rerun of the Dai Collaboration event!

    Expected level for Nottagen (DQ7)

    So I'm more than a bit confused with the difficulty in DQ7 at the moment. Up until now the game has been a cake walk. I've barely had to use abilities, enemies have all been push overs and most of the time enemies have just done 1-2 damage when hitting me with the certain enemies doing 10-20 though this has been rare. This has been without me doing any grinding. But now I'm at Nottagen and I feel like I missed something because enemies are now casually hitting for 30-50 damage with some doing 30-50 damage to the whole party simultaneously. It's not stopping me, I'm still progressing albeit with liberal use of healing items but I keep wondering if I was expected to have grinded before coming here or possibly somehow got here too early. Did I miss something? Was I expected to be higher level here? Again I'm still managing so it's not a huge deal I'm just kind of confused about the sudden shift in difficulty that seems to have come out of nowhere. For the record my party currently is around 31-33 (with the exception of Mervyn who is low 20's since I just got him)

    Dragon Quest XI S (ending question)

    Ok I do not care if this is a spoiler but I want to know one thing because if he does not get revenge and kill the King for destroying his village than I have no interest in the game.

    If I am playing this hero the King is on my list of those to die! So please tell me... Does he get revenge or should I stop now because no fucking way can I play a character and get along with a king that destroyed those that were parents, friends, and family in this game.
