    PS5, Just Finished my first playthrough of DQ11S. Loved every second of it. Started it July 22nd and finished it August 4th with a playtime of 109:28. Now for post game and trophy hunting

    So basically I am trying to play DQ V - I want to emulate it on the PC, but I am not sure what version should I emulate? Would the PS2 (I know people translated it) or DS be better? Or should I just buy it on my phone?

    Just finished the true boss of 11...

    after playing 1, 2, and 3 before this with zero spoilers. I can proudly say the ending of this game blew my mind as I thought it was supposed to be some sort of reboot. Tears were shed, and words were shouted. What a damn fine game and series to boot.

    So where should I go next? Are the mobile ports of 4 and after any good? I'm also curious of DQ Heroes as I really enjoyed Hyrule Warriors.

    Seriously though... DAMN.

    Prince Charmels is going to add probably five more hours to my run.

    I'm doing a run of DQ8 without any items at all. This includes weapons and armor. However, Prince Charmels uses a small knife to attack. I know that he can run away on his first turn though, meaning that he won't use the knife at all, therefore staying in line with the rules of the run.

    That also means that every time he does use it I'll have to reload from my last save.

    I want to murder this fat fuck.

    Dq5 problems with curse

    Hello, playing dq5 and loving it so far. However I just got to Gotha for the first time and was horrified to find the little skulls here use curse.....and it persists after battle. I cant seem to find any item that removes it and none of my crew has the abilty to remove it. Worse the priest wants 750 gold each to remove it and my whole main team has it. It feels like a no win situation right now. Maybe there is a mob I missed somewhere that can remove it? Not sure what to do any help would be great. Thank you. _^

    [DQ4][Spoilers] Did I miss a side quest somewhere?

    I just finished replaying DQ IV (DS) and it reminded me of something that's always bothered me: is there a side quest in the game where you discover what happened to the people of Santeem (not even gonna try to remember the new Russian name) between the end of Chapter II and the end of the game?

    Balzack and the monsters move in to the abandoned castle, but I don't remember seeing anything that suggests they were responsible for the disappearance, and then in the end game cutscene, they're just...back.

    Is there anything in the game that I may have missed that answers the mystery?

    [SPOILERS] Didn't realize this about Dragon Quest III

    Hey everybody, new fan here! I've been making my way through the games (had played 5, 1, 2 and a large chunk of 11 when it came out. Now 3!). Going into this I was well aware it was a prequel to 1 and 2 and didn't think much of it while playing. It wasn't until the fake ending when I realized that this would have been way, way cooler going into this blind. I didn't know that it was a *twist* that the game was a prequel, I figured it was just something people knew prior to playing the game.

    Oh well, not much I can do when I play a game so many years later. Regardless, I think out of the original games, this is the one I've had the most fun with so far. Looking forward to the rest of the games!

    DQ VIII On Android - Is the Casino nerfed?

    At the final staged of the game and I figured I give the Casino a try and see if I can win enough to get the Liquid Metal armour and possibly the whip. But I seem that if I try to place more then 5 bets on the table the UI goes unresponsive and I have to use the Android back button to be able to spin. The next spin will only allow me 3 bets on the table. I have to exit and go back in before I can place the 5 again. Was this done intentionally to prevent Casino coin farming or does the game just hate me? I can accept either.

    Hello guys, im wondering if some of yall can sum up what you really appreciated in the 3ds version and what you would have wanted implemented in the game, new weapons, even more new characters, honestly whatever.

    Im currently doing my run on the 3ds and im enjoying it so far, brings a lot of memories.

    Also, don't you think the game is more friendly with us, i mean, seing monsters on the map definitely help with the overall difficulty of the title.

    Just writing this to have opinions of yall, what you liked and what you didn't (i guess graphics is off topic haha)

    Well just let me know and share your thoughts about this 3ds version and what you prefer in it, or do you liked the ps2 version more.
