Torneko Taloon is a national hero. The man went from a wage slave to a traveling adventurer. This man is living the American dream. On top of that he has a loving family. Truely, an example for us all.

I recently finished up a solo run for Dragonquest 9. Now I'm thinking of playing again but either another solo run or add one party member for certain quests. The major change this time around would be to use another weapon besides swords. Any recommendations?

Advice on fights

Should I go to a weaker monster spawn to level up my vocations, or should I go the the spawn that will have stronger monsters to level up my levels? I guess the question is should I focus on vocation leveling? Or actual character levels? Thanks

I have played 11 on switch and 8 on my 3ds, had a blast with those. Now I'm interested of buying 9 since I heard great things. I found some on eBay but not sure if it's really authentic because I don't really collect old games. Here's a picture of the one I found. If you guys have any suggestion where to look, I'll appreciate it. Thank you

Planning on doing a challenge / draconian run of DQ8

There are easy things to do such as no fleeing, no shopping, etc. But what do you guys suggest to prevent over leveling? Should I set a level cap for each area? Any suggestions would be helpful. Or any extra challenges you think would be fun. Might put it on YouTube if it's interesting enough

So i recently got my retail copy from amazon and put it into my disc drive on the ps4 to begin installing it... As it finished installing i noticed some continuing wierd sounds as if it was having trouble being read.. When i tried ejecting the disc via the button nothing happened even with the on screen command.. After turning it off and on the problem persisted until it just suddenly ejected the disc. I'd normally pass this off as my ps4 old but i tried other games and this didn't happen once with them.. However with this game this happened twice.. And the disc wasn't even damaged in any way... So i wanted to ask has anyone else had this issue? I just wanna know if its just a rare one off incident i experienced as I'd love to add this game to my collection.

How do you beat Baramos?

Playing through a fanslation of SNES DQ3 and cant even get close to beating Baramos.

My party is Hero LV23 | Fighter LV19 (formerly Knight LV20) | Sage LV16 (formerly Mage LV21) | Cleric LV23
Nothing I do works I can barely scratch him (BiKill doesnt even seem to work??? I have no idea if its supposed to be a lasting buff like Increase/whatever or if its a single turn effect and the sage HAS to act before the fighter) and he kills everyone in a handful of turns. Is there something im missing or did they just make him insanely difficult for no reason? I cant even brute force him like NES because they doubled his defense and quintupled his HP
