    Title basically. I prefer to 100% JRPGs in a single playthrough, so missables needless to say bug the hell out of me.

    Are there any items, quests, achievements, points of no return, or anything important to be aware of beforehand, or am I good to just play blind at my own leisure?

    "Can't install." PS5 non-definitive edition XI disc

    I bought a used copy on eBay, I know it was delisted in favor of the definitive edition, but I can't even play the disc, really?

    Is this a known thing? Has anyone else encountered it? Any workarounds?

    All Draconian Quests make it a Struggle but now I’m gonna Jynx myself

    So far I'm waiting for my next paycheck to buy the game in full (cause right now I'm just playing the demo with my second play through of the demo being all Draconian Quests) and let's just say it is a Real Struggle.

    However, I am slowly learning Skills, Healing and saving at every level up helps me to progress even with the pain of the grind and restrictions.

    So at this moment I am at downtown Heliodor and I managed to get to level 8. Sadly I can barely win against the Great Sabercats fully between saves to get to level 9 (or possibly level 10 due to them giving me 25XP with the No XP from Weak Foes Restriction) but I think I'm just gonna progress cause the first "Boss" may help me level up a level.

    I wanna say this mode is Easy now with skills like Sizz, Heal and Sleeper hit + getting in the groove with it but let's just say it's still hard but it's getting better with levels.

    Also yes at the moment everything is not giving XP but the Great Sabercats before the Manglegrove marsh. Let's just hope I can get XP from Manglegrove Marsh or Emerald Coast.

    I don't think I need any tips but just wanted to share my progress with all the draconian quests in the demo. Also reason why I'm playing the demo is because this is the first DQ game I've played other than the DQM:Joker (American) Series (1+2).

    A few questions about Dragon Quest XI S for PC

    Hi everyone,

    I've tried the PC demo of Dragon Quest XI S and I've a few questions about the game:

    1. Is there a way to be followed in real time by the camera? (for instance, if I turn around, my character will be facing the camera and I'll need to adjust the camera with the dedicated button)

    2. When I fight manually (with the "Follow Orders" option), I noticed that my characters tend to NOT hit the same opponent by default: I have to change the target so that my second character hits the same opponent. I don't understand why, is there a way to change this?

    3. Is there a way to change the layout of the gamepad buttons in-game? (I know you can change the keyboard layout but I didn't find how to do it for the gamepad)

    Besides, I had the opportunity to quickly try the full version to see the 2D mode, hence my last question:

    1. In 2D-mode, is there a way to run? (I know how to do it in 3D-mode but it didn't work in 2D)

    Is there any Accessories that gains back mp you are using. Also I have this party: Female main party member Bianca Terry Jessica I am trying to find the best equipment to use right now because I am in the fault area.

    Some tips/strategies for defeating Timewyrm

    I went in and was able to defeat him fairly easily on my 3rd try after struggling really badly against him. Hopefully this will be able to help someone because it's a really tough boss fight

    1. Bring a couple of pep pips and elfin elixirs. You won't need many

    2. Use Hero, Hendrik, Serena, and Erik

    3. Spam Forbearance on Hendrik. He'll eat all of the teams damage. Use Hero and Serena to heal or revive him if he goes down.

    4. Use Divide/Critical Claim as Erik to deal heavy damage to the tails as they rotate in. When his MP gets low use an Elfin Elixir.

    5. Try not to do too many high MP attacks when the purple mist is out, because you'll burn through it really quickly. Healing is an exception though

    6. During the final phase, when both Timewyrm and its tail are out, swap Erik out for Veronica and spam Kaboomle. It'll deal heavy damage (for me it was between 500 and 800) to each tail, which will save a lot of time. It also means that the tails can't revive each other, because they'll both be low HP, so you can finish them both off at roughly the same time.

    7. When both tails get low HP(dark orange) or only one is left, you can use pep pips to get Serena and Veronica pepped up and use mighty magic burst to finish them off.

    8. Use Grace of the Goddess and Divine Intervention whenever you get the chance as Serena to ensure that she doesn't die, and save Hero from having to revive her. I also used it on Veronica because she has lower HP

    Sylvando had a fanboy bruh

    So I started replaying DQ11 for, like, the 10th time and I got to Sylv's part. I went down the steps at the palace going towards the tent and i noticed a dude looking inside through a window. I never noticed him during my other playthroughs so i went to talk to the guy and he said that he's an "admirer-er" of Slyvando and he wanted to talk to him

    I've watched enough anime and... Other forms of anime... to know where this could've gone 😂

    meena and maya's nationality?

    i assumed them to be french when first playing without party chat, but now that i talk to them a lot i realise they don't have a french accent and also say innit a lot like they're english? but their english is also slightly broken and they do the word repeat thing pretty often. is their darker skin meant to indicate they're from somewhere else? just not sure how to read them.

    also i know this isn't earth but dq locations are based off real cultures
