    When Dragon Quest 11 came out like 4 years ago i played trough it once. After i defeated mordegun i uninstalled the game.

    A couple days ago i decided to play it a second time. But now i decided to stick around after mordeguns death and do the quests that pop up. Well.. surprise the game is not finished. A new villain appeared and i cant believe it. I get to play more DQ11 with storybits and content ive never seen before!

    Its christmas for me :D

    After playing slot machines for five solid hours I have come to a startling conclusion:

    Jackpot isn't real. it's a prank the devs played on us. you'll get all the coins you need for everything because silver mode happens frequently enough to offset most of your losses

    but you will never EVER experience a jackpot. I spent five goddamned hours on those slots, i have seen free slots and multiple overlapping silver slime modes stacking on top of one another, I have seen the pink king slime give me huge loads of coins

    but never once did five-slot seven occur, even outside of silver slime mode. thus I am confident in my assessment, the jackpot is a meme, it's a myth, like robin hood, or super raditz, it's not real, it'll never be real, and you'll literally max out your coins before you ever see a jackpot. Anyway my night was awesome, I got the uber swords recipe and bikini. still haven't gotten the slime king helm but honestly it's whatever to me.

    Getting the full game today, any tips, tricks, or tidbits?

    Ok. So Before y'all start telling me highly detailed stuff about DQ Logic, This is my first DQ game other than the main story of the American Monster:Joker Series. So although I might not get terms or logistics of this game, it is still nice to know what to expect and help defining any terms or weirdly-named-spell's mechanics if mentioned.

    Other than that I'm up for spoilers of where items are that I need to grab, strategies to grind XP, Tips on battles or skill trees, and I know ALL the characters obtainable as companions so any tips on items to focus on toward the end game are helpful. I just want some spoil wall with Major Storyline Spoils that are show in cutscenes or spoils on Boss names only. If you like to mention a strategy for a boss, just tell me something like "Boss of {this area}" or something like that.

    Again, although I played the demo, I'm still new to this style of game and wish to understand if there are anything you wish to share from your experience to help my experience be better.

    Should I buy Fur Armor for Prince of Cannock? It seems much better than Magic Armor but every guide I've seen says Magic is the best for him.

    I played this game in japanese withe the soundtrack off and it was amazing. I watched videos in english andit's a whole different game. Especially the characters. Like how do you even??!

    Characters that worked:

    1)Arboria twins are excellent in English,I prefer them

    2)Same with Gemma and i don't even like her

    3)Rab is excellent

    4)Same goes for Jasper.I like English Jasper

    5)Hendrick works both ways but he's more epic in battle in japanese...and it's sexy

    6) Pronce Faris? Japanese yes.English,NO,hell NO

    And now here's the ones thatre just a mess,and...just why even?

    1)These offensive accents that are just bad...King Carnelian,Sylvando and Prince Faris,also the Sultan.How the hell did they get through?

    2)Erik sounds like a 30 yr old pervert.He's 19. How do you fuck up like this.

    3)Sylvando is a totally different guy.Period.This isn't the same character.Erik is an extreme exageration of his actual character...but Sylvando? Who the hell even are you ,darling? I don't recongize you! I swear these two are NOT the same person in english! Like it's really bad!

    Personally I think it's homophobia/transphobia on the westerners part (Sylvando is Sylvia in japanese so I know that has something to do with it....same with Erik vs Kamyu).

    Now I don't mind dubs...I like them in my anime (was watching fate/stay night and I prefer the dub) ,but come on people...don't go changing whole personas. I hear Erik and Sylve are some of the most popular characters ( both my babies) ...so who the hell are these strangers in my game?

    So which do you prefer ,English or Japanese?
