    I just finally finished DQ XI, I was so excited! I beat DQ I and II...working on III and IV as well, I am addicted to the franchise and I am 40 years old now, took me long enough! :)

    This was the third Metal Slime I killed and it already wanted to join! (Yes, I am using Monster Magnet, but the chances are still relatively low, specifically 1.5% with it, so I didn’t expect it to happen so early.)

    I have been stuck on this for days. I'm in the post-game content and no matter what, I can't seem to access Stella's quest in the Starflight Express. I've done all of the other post-game story quests (Erinn, King Godfrey, the quest right before it, Aquila joining the party, etc.) but whenever I talk to Stella she just recites instructions for flying the Starflight Express.

    Am I missing something?

    First time DQ11 player and I have a question.

    I'm about 25 hours in currently in Phnom Nonh and enjoying the game so far. However, as I understand it the game is like 130 hours long. My big questions is, does the formula change up a bit to keep things fresh? Right now it's visit town, do tiny 15 minute dungeon, go back to town, travel to next town, repeat. I don't know if this is going to keep me interested for another 100 hours or so. The side quests are also super short and very easy. While I'm not looking for specifics as I am trying to avoid spoilers (I already got spoiled on who the last party member is), I just want to know if things change up to keep the game interesting and fresh.

    -My absolute HATE for Hendrick, until that one stupid scene.

    -Anytime Sylv is not on screen.

    Stop making me feel feelings, haven't finished the game yet but im sure there's more.

    Dragon Quest Heroes 2 solo challenge - final boss dilemma

    I had a post earlier regarding this but it's very, very outdated by now. I need advice, and preferably in a timely fashion. Here's a refresher on the rules:

    1. NO PARTY MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED.
    • Party members are characters that you can switch to by pressing L2 and that you automatically switch to when you die.
    • Monster medals, Healix, and guest party members such as Jessica and Angelo from the mission in Mt. Neverest do not count.
    • If I am forced to have party members in my party, and I cannot get rid of them, I have to reset from my last save if I die or accidentally switch to them.
    1. ALL ONLINE FUNCTIONALITIES ARE DISALLOWED.
    • Only exception is the daily bonuses, such as proficiency bonuses or extra EXP.

    I've gotten to the final boss. Fractos isn't that hard, in fact he's easier than I thought he would be, what's getting to me is one of his attacks in phase 2 subphase 2. He drags the protag into his clutches and drains them and then if you can't deal enough damage to the Cup of Kings, he uses magic burst and immediately kills the protagonist. You're supposed to just switch to an alternate party member, but as the rules above state, I can't even have any party members, so I just get sucked in with no way out or around and immediately killed.

    This very well could be the end of the run. I'm not sure how to combat this, since you can't attack, block, or dodge once Fractos has you. Magic burst doesn't insta-kill though-- it deals a tangible amount of damage, around ~530 in my experience. This is clearly below 999, and I want to make sure that you can tank a magic burst from Fractos phase 2 if you're overleveled. If anybody with the game with an MC with >550 health can test this, I'd greatly appreciate this.

    Is there any way to fix this other than just overleveling? If you're in tension while he uses magic burst, can you escape? What level would a sage have to be to tank it? If you all could answer some of my questions I would be very pleased.

    Until deemed otherwise, it is NOT possible to beat Dragon Quest Heroes 2 with only the main character, just because of a single attack at the last subphase at the last phase of the last boss.

    DQVIII 3DS POST GAME SPOILERS////

    FUCKING SIR LEOPOLD in the new post game dungeon is the most insane shit i have experienced in this series, there I was enjoying the new content i beat the dragovian trials and unlocked the new dungeon, some of the bosses were a little out there but nothing i couldn't handle, but then this fucking mutt comes in, critical hit after critical hit, his fucking scream renders my party useless, what the fuck, after hours of getting my ass unfairly handed to me I cave in and check a guide, the only way to defeat him apparently is cheese him with toxic sword... Well that's lovely!

    I DIDN'T INVEST IN JESSICA OR RED KNIVES TREE!

    THE GUIDE LITERALLY SAYS THERE'S NO OTHER WAY TO BEAT HIM, I TRIED SEVERAL STRATEGIES CHANGING MY PARTY SEVERAL TIMES, I WENT AND GRINDED FOR LIKE 5 LEVELS, NO GOOD

    I have no seeds of skills either, but even if I did I would need like 10+ to get toxic sword on Jessica.

    So either I could go ahead and waste DAYS trying to get seeds of blue chests or some random drops from enemies just to kill this piece of shit.

    What an absolute horrible way to cap off a 70 hour game experience, fuck this game.
