    New set NPCs for DQX Offline. Also looks like you can pick a male or female hero. This image comes from the official DQX Japanese Twitter account. Still no idea if they have decided to scrap the character customisation for your hero though.

    Dragon Quest X Offline is a great idea

    I've always been a DQ fan, but after meeting my Japanese wife who is also a huge fan, DQ games became an event (We simultaneously played 11 on PS4(me) and 3DS(her) back in 2017, even making sure we were progressing at the same rate ("No! Don't go to the next dungeon yet! I haven't won all the casino items yet!")).

    We showed interest in DQX, and we played it for a while, but 1) We aren't that into MMOs, and 2) Japanese companies suck at making their content available outside of the country. You couldn't access the game outside of Japan, forcing us to use VPNs, which made everything even worse.

    So we gave up on it.

    This morning, my wife comes running to me: "Look at this!! It's a new Dragon Quest!! What does X mean? (She doesn't understand Roman numerals)" "It means 10. It's just Dragon Quest 10." "But it says it's offline! We can actually play it!!!"

    Our excitement was cut short by our daughter turning off the Dragon Quest video so she could watch Peppa Pig, but still.

    Dragon Quest X Offline release date has been announced (Japan only)

    It will release on February 26th, 2022. It will also get dlc updates to give it the other content from the online version. At the moment this is a Japan only announcement but hopefully that will change.

    Dragon Quest 11, Hero's Outfit

    I started playing this game a few months ago and noticed later on that the game just gives you the Hero's outfit, a nod to the hero in DQ8, as well as a little bear suit for Veronica. I started a new file recently, but I haven't gotten them yet. I don't have the original save file anymore, so are those outfits just gone forever, or is there a way to get them again?

    Dragon Warrior III spoiler question

    So, I just beat DW3 on the NES. Was I not paying attention? Should I have known all along this was a prequel? As it was, I did not expect to get sent to the world map from the first game and to be the legendary Erdrick. Was this set up before the ending and I just wasn't reading text?

    Skill Tree and XP Grinding confusions in “XI S” Post Game

    So I am kinda lost at this point. Like I'm in my low to mid 60s in levels for all my hero's, got Bonus SkillTree from the Barrows for the knights, and I'm not sure what my priorities be in my skill tree. I'm also trying to level up faster with the Summon Metal method but I don't know how to make it easier or quicker than defending from one monster for Hallelujah and then fighting on for Metal Slime Chance in Electro Light.

    Any Tips in both the Skill tree and EXP Grinding?

    Quick questions about DQ 11?

    I played DQ 9 before and remember there were spots with shiny stuff on ground I could pick up that were items. Can I scavenge like that in DQ 11?

    And use those items to alchemize stuff?

    Also, how early/late can I get the ability to steal from monsters, if at all? And can all my members do it?

    Lots of good sidequests or naw?

    Last, what are the minigames and are they fun?

    Vocation upgrade materials | DQ Dai Mobile

    Anyone know where to get the vocation upgrade materials to increase the Player character's max level? I got 3 of the 4 vocations at level 15 already.

    (Edit | I found that you can get the Priest upgrade material from: Dragon Tracks, Episode 3, Chapter 19 Not sure about the other vocation materials.)

    (Edit 2 | You can get the following vocation materials from the Event Quest "The Hero Tutor Returns" and their respective Episodes: Episode 2 = Hero materials Episode 3 = Warrior materials Episode 5 = Mage materials Episode 6 = Priest materials)
