Posted: 15 Oct 2021 07:51 AM PDT i think enjoyment of it would be heavily impacted depending on if you're a fan of 5 or not as it doesn't do a lot to stand on it's own two feet as a movie. but as a fan of 5 i liked seeing it all in movie form. ending was weird but i think most people say that, i would've preferred if it was just a retelling and not some weird meta thing but it's not a huge issue. the disneyification. the quirkyness of it all. madason and bianca were entirely different to how i'd expect them, with madason being similar to a lot of animated movie protags and bianca being similar to a lot of the cool girl animated movie love interests. it all felt a lot more like a subpar pixar movie than a dragon quest if i'm being honest. but i love 5 so i was still like WOAH saber WOAH gootrude WOWOWOW i played this on the /ds/ and now its on my /tv/ woooaaahhh :0. as one does. would like to hear others thoughts on this (also mention if you played 5 before watching it too) [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 15 Oct 2021 05:27 AM PDT I picked up an old save of mine after a long time away and I'm currently in act 2 doing sidequests and such, about to head to Sniflheim. I remember a lot of this, I think I got much farther in game but reloaded a save because I'd missed a bunch of sidequest stuff. I had stopped off in Gallopolis and the story seemed to direct me to follow the prince there, and I remember that's how I get the hammer we need, but this guide is having me proceed right along without a stop there for seemingly a long time. I don't want to read too far ahead but I'd like to wrap that up if it's just a side beat and I can move on from it. Am I okay to just pick up the hammer and keep going, or should I wait? After that, auto save won't work and neither will just manually saving the game. It is on steam and it is being shared via the family thing. If anyone has anyway to fix this please tell me.
