    What is the best way to utilize the job system in DQIII?

    I'm playing the DQIII remake on Switch and I got to Alltrades Abbey where they explained that changing a character's job puts them back to level 1, but they keep any spells they had. I currently have a standard party with a Warrior, Priest, and Wizard, but I wanted to know if there were any obvious advantages to resetting a party member to another class? There just seem to be too many drawbacks...

    Hey Guys. I've played pokemon with blinding loyalty my whole life since OG Blue and Red. And I'm weirdly angry about experience share not being AN OPTION to be turned off in the new sw/sh games. However, Dragon Quest XI, is my first Dragonquest game and I haven't played it yet cause I'm still trying to finish Fire Emblem haha.

    Is experience share a good thing? I enjoy the solo grind of pokemon levelling up cause it makes me feel a bit more connected to them. With experience share - do you realize you end up not using any characters cause they are levelling up anyways? Just want feedback to chill out my "why is this making you irrationally angry?" feeling right now

    Dragon Quest XI S full script

    If anyone is looking for any text from Dragon Quest XI S, I've extracted most of it at my site, with a lot of formatting help from my wife. This includes Shypox & Townsfolk Talk Tripe, the new segments, all cutscenes and NPCs, etc. Note that the index is safe, but the files themselves will contain tons of spoilers, so don't check it out until you have cleared the game!

    Quick question about outfits (DQ XI S)

    Last night I crafted the Drasilian Set for Eleven and wasn't crazy about the clinking noise when running around. Is there a way to keep the armor/helm equipped but retain his default outfit? If I select "(None)" in the outfits menu he still has the Drasilian Set on. I've encountered this a few times thus far in the game (Boar suit earlier on, etc.) and haven't been able to figure it out.

    I'm talking about the secret trial on Switch version. I can't beat Boodica (I made it once but couldn't beat Pang afterwards).

    It seems I can't kill the mobs fast enough with Hendrik before she summons more/oomphs her party.

    I can't find a proper strategy fot this trial on draconian. Anyone made it yet? Should I spend hours farming seeds?

    DQ XI S - 100% completion steps list

    I was wondering if there is a list of steps to do in order to complete the game. From what I know you must acquire all the minimedals, complete all sidequests in Erdrea either in the Tockles' World, obtain all costumes, forge all items and so on. Is there a list of steps with everything useful to achieve 100%?

    I've tried using the electro light method, however I only get 3 normal lms. My MC is 45 and other characters higher- lv 50 Veronica. Is there a faster method for me at this point in game to level- in Act 3, just beaten Drustan's first trial boss. Thanks,

    Does XI have more dialogue than VIII?

    For some reason I can't LOVE DQ11. This is my second time trying it. I'm a serious DQ fan, played and beat many of them. I think my major gripe with 11 is how freaking slow it feels sometimes. It's similar to the amazing VIII in that you get tied up in miniature episodes that all link to the main quest. But it just feels so slow. What do you guys think? Does XI have the most dialogue?

    Question about haikus

    So, in Hotto, everyone speaks in haikus. However, on my 2nd play-through, I turned on Japanese voices, and they speak waaay more syllables than a haiku.

    Does anyone happen to know if they're using some other kind of Japanese poetry or verse or something? I'm curious.

    DQ IX S: characters story part Act2 (SPOILERS)

    Hi all,

    I have the Switch versión of the game and as you all know, right at the begining of Act 2 before taking control of the fish luminary you have some carácter specific stories. I completely fell in love with all of them, this game is just incredible. But in order of preference this is the my list:

    1- Rab: this was my favourite of all. Such a beautiful, sad, Deep story quests. Going though all Rab's happy moments just broke my heart. I really really felt sad when he saw his dead doughter and then going the luminary's birth. This story was Deep and definitely fell in love with Rab's personality and character.

    2- Erik: really liked this one, particularly how it ends, a very good twist.

    3- Sylvando: very cheerfull quest. I liked it, very Sylvandoesque (I just invented a word?)

    4- Jade: didn't like it at all to be honest.

    Anyways, this game is so good, the stories and characters are deep, I love and is becoming one of my top 3 RPG I've played (Xeno2 is n°1 so far).

    He sounds incredibly like Kenyuu Horiuchi, who played German in Garo Divine Flame, but I can't find this listed in his credits anywhere.

    Cockney rhyming slang and Erik's "Half-inch" technique name

    Cockney rhyming slang is a bit silly and convoluted, but basically to obscure the word you want, you find a 2-word phrase object whereby the 2nd word in the phrase rhymes with the intended word.

    For example, in DQ as well as other games that use cockney rhyming slang (Octopath Traveler), Thieves are called Tea Leafs. Leaf rhymes with Thief, therefore Tea Leaf=Thief. Half inch = pinch
