    I'm completly new to jrpg as a whole (besides pokemon but idk if that realy counts) but wanna get into it, and since I realy like the whole artstyle and kinda silly enemy design of dragon quest I want to get one for Christmas, but idk what the best one is to start with.

    Core blimy dq8 is 15 years old today

    This game finally made the series full 3d and had voicing I love this game so much it's it's everything a good jrpg needs rip tension system it didn't make it to 11 yes I think tension is better than peep powers

    Electro Light problems

    I discovered the whole electro light and hallelujah thing a couple days ago. My characters are all in the 60s except Serena. So far I've tried it 5 times and got killing machines every time. Super frustrating! I've done it 4 times in t he Manglegrove Whale way and once in the Fortress of Fear. I havent updated the game in forever. Could it be a bug??

    Curious about the Erik one-shot manga

    I heard that Hiro Mashima made/is supposed to make a one-shot manga of our favorite blue-haired thief. However I've been periodically checking the web for/about it since August, and have yet to find hide nor hair of any appearances in Shonen Jump, apart from some low-res previews in Japanese. Does anyone have any updates or links as to where I can read it, or where I should look? Thanks.

    [DQXI] Confused about post-game

    I'm in the post game and I went straight to the altar of time as suggested by Erik. I noticed there were several question marks on the map, but now those disappeared and I'm only seeing a marker on the time tower. Do I redo the past and then start the post game again? Or should I do everything in the post game and get my 100% completion and THEN go to the past?

    A bit confused so thanks for the help.

    Are all the dungeons in DQXI empty vast premapped hallways with character?

    Just wondering. I just saved the 3rd party members sister and this dungeon looks identical to the last.... its premapped (they even tell you what doors are locked before you even approach them).

    I just finished Dragon Quest XI. The end credits include screenshots from the other games in the series. The Dragon Quest X screenies featured a rapier-wielding blond woman. She looked pretty bad-ass and interesting, and I was wondering who is she? She didn't look like the art I saw for the main character.

    What is this? Why can I not play Spotify while playing the game? Looking up, there is no solution. I have only played it an hour and already I find the music pretty bad. Anybody have any suggestions or advice?
