    Started the Post Game of DQ XI

    Just finished the main story and man, the post game just feels like a new story. When I started playing the game I thought that I wouldn't even finish it due to the long play time that requires. But now I'm over 10h past the "final" boss and I just simply cannot stop playing!!!

    Ps.: Sorry if there is too much errors in my text, I'm brazilian and it's been a while since I wrote something.

    DWVII for the ps1 is my first DQ game, I’ve been playing for a year and a half on and off and I think I’m maybe half way through. Nobody told me this game was so long!

    \ I'm on Stronger Enemies and I'm getting absolutely wasted by Rab. I'm level 44 and I'm trying to time the cycle so I can defend, Quadraslash, kill the adds, defend/heal, Quadra, etc. It's just not working and I keep getting beat down. Any suggestions?

    Things you didn't know until later in DQXI?

    I didn't realize until about halfway through that you could change weapons, accessories etc in battles without losing a turn!

    I was more regretful to learn that you could zoom to any campsite if you rest there... could have saved a lot of time running around haha. I could have sworn I had that theory and tested it and it didn't work!!

    I like that I feel like I'm constantly discovering things though.. now at 120 hrs in XD

    DQ11 would be my first one, is the switch version truly the best?

    Hello all! I honestly basically knew nothing about dragon quest, and I am REALLY in the mood to play an rpg, and saw DQ11 and builders 2, is DQ11 better? I watched a kotaku video on it and he hyped me up soooo much for DQ11 that I felt like I HAD to have it, but I have a ps4 and a switch and saw the switch version is new, and has updates. Between PS4 and switch should I get the switch version? My fear was the kotaku guy may have been crazy biased. Is it truly the best in the series and worth trying if I have never played one ever? It's 40$ on psn and 60$ on switch. I don't mind paying the difference if it really is better. I'm just looking for someone to give me the nudge towards buying it or not, and whether builders 1,2, or DQ11 is better for my first one. Thank you so much!

    I'm on Dora-In-Chains, and at this point the last couple of bosses have just felt like RNG. I'm overleveled, I have trinkets equipped to minimize mesmerize and ability disable, and five times in a row now she's disabled Jade and wiped out Sylvando in the first or second turn. I feel like I'm wasting my time waiting on RNG to let me win. Might as well be playing the casino.

    Maybe I just need to accept that this game just wasn't meant to be difficult.

    Can you replace the battle theme music with anything on using mods?

    I'm playing Dragon Quest 11 (PC), and even with the orchestral mod, 5 hours in, I'm already tired of the battle theme. It would be nice if I could replace the music with any other battle theme through mods. Does such a mod exist? Thank you

    For those of us who havebeaten Calasmos and married/had Veronica or Serena stay with you, how does the dialogue change (if it does at all) between you, Veronica, and Serena, since at least one of them decided to stay with you in Cobblestone and the other was in Arboria, most likely? I am wondering if anything changes in that brief epilogue where you go with Serena or Veronica to return the Sword of Light. Has anyone done this and if so, can someone explain what happens? Thanks!

    Did I accidentally cancel A Walk On The Wild Side? (DQXI)

    So, I might have procrastinated on completing the "A Walk On The Wild Side" quest, and I'm currently in the post game, which means no more normal Spitzfires, just Malicious Spitzfires.

    Can the quest still be completed, or have I just fucked myself over?

    Act 2 Serena

    I have just gotten her back and to my dismay she's lvl 43 which is very far behind my other members who are lvl 54-56, I imagine there isn't any way for me to get Serena caught up, especially since she already levels slowly, but I think that she should've been around whatever average level my party has, any tips? And also what level does Veronica come back

    [XI] Quick question - Is Heliodor City accessible during Act 2?

    Got curious about what would happen if I went back to the castle and tried to leave out the front door now that the boss there has been defeated. But given the game's linearity and being pushed in other directions at that point in the game...

    Can anyone save me a potentially fruitless trip back and let me know if you can in fact revisit the city at this point (after beating the castle boss), or if it's still blocked off?

    New to DQ after being absolutely charmed by Builders 2; which version (mobile or SNES) of I-IV is best?

    Hi, I'm sure that this gets asked a lot, but after the setting of DQB2 absolutely charmed me, I'm looking to get into the DQ series a bit. I vaguely remember the original Dragon Warrior on the NES and found it charming, but after doing some digging I've found out about the SNES remake fan translations and the mobile versions.

    My question is: which one is best? It seems that some favor the SNES remakes while others favor the mobile versions, which are supposed to be quite good as well. Are there significant difference in terms of visuals and music? Content? Is the fan translation good or clunky like fan translations often are?
