    I want to buy dragon quest 11s on switch and it's currently on sale in the us eshop. I live in europe and have played the demo with my european acount. Does anyone know that if I buy the game from the american eshop that I can transfer my save date from the demo I downloaded from the european eshop.

    Erik Dragon Quest XI vs Switch Definitive Edition

    Spoiler Alert:

    I played Dragon Quest XI on the Ps4 and was quite shocked to the cold treatment that the developer did to Erik when he rejoined the party. He was basically in such a bad shape that he has to resort to become a stowaway and stealing food for a living.

    We learn that a few months has passed since the Fall, which means Erik had basically been living as a homeless guy/beggar for months. Compared to the other party members honorable and epic quest to save the world (even if they fail spectacularly like Jade), this was a very cruel and weird decision from the developer.

    So, it turns out he did underwent an epic journey of his own, but it was only revealed on the Switch Definitive Edition. He was the one who saved Outer a Haven, but it was never mentioned in the original version and you, as the player, had to fill in the blank yourselves. This was a really bad decision and oversight from the developer, pretty much as bad as the missing Prompto chapter in FFXV.

    Hello, everyone. I have a question (or two) about Dragon Quest 11 and I'm willing to bet that you wonderful people will be able to answer them.

    Dragon Quest 11 is back on my radar. Initially, the demo didn't sway me, but as I type this post, the demo is re-downloading. Maybe it'll impress me this time around.

    It seems to me like the assigning of skills/abilities rubbed me the wrong way. When I compare it to Dragon Quest 8, that was straightforward. I would get a few points to allocate and then, it'd be done. I don't understand how that new system works.

    Another thing that made me a bit suspicious was the crafting system. I might have the name wrong. If I do, forgive me. I watched a few gameplay videos and it looked to me like some kind of crafting was taking place. Is that like the alchemy pot?

    I bought DQ 11 a while back but haven't gotten around to play it yet, and I recently bought 8 for 3ds when I saw it for a good price. I now have time to play games again finally and I wondered which I should do first.

    I have 1 of each...

    Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen for Nintendo DS brand new in original shrink wrap, perfect condition.

    Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride for Nintendo DS brand new in original shrink wrap, perfect condition.

    Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies for Nintendo DS used in original case with booklet, like new condition.

    These are extra copies in addition to the ones I have used to play. Any idea what they're worth...?
