    So last year I started playing all the mainline games in the series and now I just finished 11 and like...what now?? I spent so much time on this series in the past year and now it's like...there's no new game for me to start lmao

    But I still have Heroes 2 and Builders 2 so.....I guess I can start those :p

    But yeah, wow, what a journey. I went from never playing or paying much mind to the series to absolutely falling in love with it. There were some moments I didn't care for but overall I'm so happy I did this. Ah. So satisfying.

    Anyway, fuck Dragon Quest 12, let's get a full ass Erdrick Trilogy remake with 11 gameplay and style.

    How do monsters decide who to attack in DQ2?

    Hi Everyone! I just started playing DQ2, I got the Silver Key and the game is turning out pretty fun until now. I wonder though how monsters attack, the second character I got is often targeted more than the Hero, is it just random or do monsters attack in a strategic manner?

    My Preferred DQXI Ending

    I know that likely nobody cares, and that no one has asked for my opinion, but I just have to get this out to purge myself.

    I think that the Act 2 ending of DQXI is LIGHTYEARS better than the Act 3 ending, and even though I think there are some moments worth savoring (Jasper and Hendrick's scene, for example), and even though I am about to beat the final boss, I basically headcanon Act 3 as a fairy tale.

    It feels so wrong to sacrifice all the character development that we went through together just for some absurdly happy ending. I mean they barely even gave us a reason to care about Calasmos. He just chills in the skies. I get that he made Mordegan, but Mordegan is just so much more engaging of a villain.

    I know I'm not breaking any new ground, and I won't begrudge anyone for not caring, but I just had to get my thoughts out of my head. Hope whoever reads this has a great day!

    Help on dragon quest vi

    So recently I have gotten pegasus and I thought I would do a quick test run into the arch fiends land and it put my entire party down to 1 hp and 0 mp. This is fine, I just assumed that it would be a gaurrentee to flee everytime because there is no way to fight with only 1 hp. I was obviously wrong and on my way from desparia to greedmore I died multiple times. When I got to there is eventually got to the mine area. Now I don't know about you but I don't think going 3+ floors without being flee blocked is impossible. I was sat here for over an hour just trying to get farther then floor 3. Is there any item or anything I can do to get my party's hp and mp to normal or even to gaurrentee a flee from each battle? It seems to me that saving in that kip would F my entire save file up because, like any normal human, I'm not going to spend my evening gambling rng flee luck.

    I know the Hero has the Sword of Light as their signature weapon, but what about the rest of the team? Do they have any character locked weapons, or do some of them just grab whatever is good.

    So I just got this on switch via Japanese Nintendo account. I made myself a japanese square enix account without really knowing what I was doing. Did I sign up for anything or is there anything I should know about it? Also, I'm looking for someone to help me get started with the game. I know literally no JP.

    Are any of the sidequests missable in XI? [Spoilers]

    I feel like that might be the case, since there was one sidequest in Cobblestone (which I did do), and Cobblestone ends up getting destroyed, with no way that I could see to finish the quest if someone decided not to partake of it, or finish it beforehand. Some of them feel like they're gonna be annoying (like this "use Wild Side to defeat a particular enemy" one that I'm about to give up on for the time being) and if I can wait to complete them, I would prefer that
