    Hey, just finished the game and absolutly loved it. The game really suprised me with how long it was. Took me 110 hours to finish. It is just astonishing how much work was put into the game, it is obvious the creator put a lot of effort into the game.

    Also just find out they are releasing a definitive edition with more content and that they fully remade the game for 2d for it, that is just insane.

    This was my first dragon quest game and I really want to play more but apperently there aren't any more games for pc, is that right?

    dragon quest 1,2,3 switch or gbc?

    So i wanted to get into the earlier dragon quest games.

    I saw that dragon quest 1,2,3 are for the switch and wanted to buy it but uses the mobile sprites

    also saw dragon quest 1,2 and 3 on gbc (game boy collor) with the old sprites and was wondering wich is the better version or wich did u guys choose?

    New to Dragon Quest X

    I just finished downloading Dragon Quest X off the jp eshop on my jp ninten acc. I went through what I need to do but I was being stopped by a error code something about I cant connect because Im not in japan or something. Any help or fix? Is making a SE account then doing easy play through that be able to fix it? Does putting the switch region on Japan be able to help?

    I bought the Edition of Light awhile back on sale. I now have my backlog open enough to dedicate some time to the game.

    I noticed there is a new version coming to steam soon, is there going to be enough story content to warrant waiting and just re-purchasing? What are the biggest features other than story related content?

    I made a Facebook group dedicated to Dragon Quest when I was in middle school. I still get people checking it out every week.

    Dragon Quest VIII was and always will be the greatest game I've ever played. I loved it so much that I made a Facebook page just to show my love for the game back when I was a kid. I would edit photos and videos for the page, and make these cute little posts that were cringey, yet so wholesome. I had a small, but loyal following. I got a couple of admins to help assist me with the page, and I had people commenting and liking my posts. Regardless of how small it was, I really felt like I created something special. Obviously, as with all things, I lost interest and stopped posting on the page. It was sad to see something so precious to me just fade away from existence. Almost a decade later, I still get notifications that people are liking and viewing my page. Every single month, I get a couple of additional likes, and I'm just amazed. It may not be much, but the fact that people are still discovering the group makes me so happy.

    Hey guys, I've never played a dragon quest game. I really want to get DQ11 for switch but it's 80 dollars CAD which is a rip off, considering the PS4 version is like 30 bucks (though it's not the DE).

    So I was thinking of maybe playing some others in the series that are at a reasonable price. I am looking for one that has a good crafting, equipment systems and fun party of characters to use. And has at least a decent story.

    From what I've read, Dragon quest 8 seems pretty popular, but if there's any others worth playing instead let me know. I am not totally sure the games strengths and weaknesses.

    Once DQ11 DE releases on PC for 50 dollars CAD I'll prob be get it then.

    Casino question in Dragon Warrior VII

    Are there any casino tokens that can be found in the game? Have checked behind the slot machines in both the past and present but have found nothing so far. Does the game even give any free casino tokens out? I really can't remember because it's been so long. Playing on PS3 with original discs and really enjoying the game so far.

    I'm doing a playthrough with no shopping, and hopefully without paying for any casino tokens. Planning to pick up again this afternoon at the casino in the present so that I can get some monster hearts, new weapons and armour.

    Edit: I was really hoping to do a playthrough with no characters being wiped out at the end of battle, but stupid Antoria killed both Auster and Maribel. When this battle ended both were restored back to life just before the dialog screen appeared. Would this mean they gained experience too? Doesn't really matter or anything though.

    So I'm at the tower of lost time and I just can't help but feel incredibly guilty as i'm about to go into the past, I knew i was going to go originally but looking at all my friend's faces as they beg me to stay and I say I have to go, that hurts my soul.

    i know it's meant to feel like that but it makes me cry, even if i see these guys again in the past, it hurts that they're so sad for me. I love this game for making me feel like this but i hate that I can't give my damn companions a damn hug. Goddamnit
