    I was looking for some RPGs on Xbox game pass for pc and was gonna play FFXII but I thought to myself "no you've already played that before" and decided on dragon quest XI and from the second I heard that orchestral intro I knew that I was gonna be hooked and I've gotta say I've played a lot of the final fantasy's and the setting and vibe of DQ games have hit a sweet spot I didn't even know I had, and now I'm marathoning all the games (already beat 1-3) and I don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon. I hate myself for not finding these games earlier Thank you Yuuji Hori and everyone involved in making these games!

    Hello, everyone. The 35th Anniversary of Dragon Quest is almost here, but due to my impatience I decided to post the wallpaper early the day I finished it, which is today.     This wallpaper was made on Photoshop CS6, while the first one was made on Photoshop Touch on Android which is why it looked weird. Couldn't think of what to put in the middle too lol.

    So just like the first version of the wallpaper, the placements of each games are based on the other two image here:

    Hello!

    I'm no stranger to DQ and have been a fan since the 80s. I've played through DW/DQ3 a bunch of times but always went some variation of hero / soldier / priest / wizard.

    But not this time!

    On the Switch version I'm purposely making a more interesting team this time around: Hero, Thief, and two Wizards. It's very different so far that's for sure! The only healer I have is my Hero, but I mostly rely on medicinal herbs. My thief's insane agility has him with the most defense. My two wizards nuke everything. It's a lot of fun!

    Their personalities are:

    • Hero - Wit
    • Thief - Daredevil
    • Wizard - Genius
    • Wizard - Egghead

    Anybody else ever try a weird team before? If so any tips? I might not promote to Sage or any other classes and keep them as is.

    In post game can you choose any character to play as or do you still have to be the Luminary? Like how in act 2 you are controlling other characters?

    Greatsword Guard

    I have a question, how does Greatsword Guard work? If I use I'll basically have more chances of parrying enemy attacks during the whole battle? Or just during that turn?

    Gold Grind DQ IX
