You can play this mode when you complete the free trial with a revolutionary translation tool called ahkmon available now for PC!

    Where would you recommend grinding in act 2? I've just reached the Battleground.

    I used to farm with Electro Light in act 1, but I'd like to know if there's a better method since I have no reliable way to immediately pep up the team.

    I've got DQ fever! Help me decide what to play next!

    I completed DQ XI S this past winter, and loved it so much I immediately replayed it. My favorite RPG of all-time is Chrono Trigger, followed by Final Fantasy VI and Trials of Mana, and I've become absolutely enamored with the DQ series and its comfy, familiar style.

    After sinking a solid 200+ hours in DQ XI, I immediately dove into the Switch port of Dragon Quest III. Lone Wolf Erdrick and his 3 Vamp companions (a Martial Artist named Jade and the Sages Serena and Veronica) triumphed over Baramos and Zoma. Now, as I impatiently await the 35th Anniversary news, I'm trying to decide what to play next! Here are my options:

    1. Play DQ IV, V, and VI on mobile - I'm especially hyped to play IV and V, but I'm wondering if I should hold out for a couple weeks and see if the Zenithia Trilogy is getting ported to Switch this year? The mobile versions look great, but playing on my phone isn't ideal.

    2. Play Dragon Quest VIII (PS2 version) - I can emulate the PS2 version (and the upscaled graphics look amazing), but was thinking maybe I should wait a couple weeks in the slim chance that a Switch port is announced for this game as well? I like having the option to play in handheld mode, and I don't want to buy a 3DS. I can also play the mobile version, but again, not ideal.

    3. Take a break from DQ entirely and play either Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition or Bravely Default 2 - I already own both of these games and haven't played either yet, although I known XC: DE in particular will be a massive time commitment.

    4. Replay Dragon Quest III with a different party - I loved every minute of this game! It felt like playing a 16-bit demake of Dragon Quest XI. I was thinking I might enjoy having a Thief in my endgame party, and also trying out the Warrior class.

    hey planning to start with dragon quest on my 3ds xl (old). i have played radiat historia which i loved and fire emblem too. i didnt like bravely default cuz of its complex job and abilities and gameplay... so will dragon quest be worth it? ALSO will playing on old 3ds xl hinder the gameplay?

    the c stick is unavailable on the old 3ds xl so will controlling be hard and infuriating?

    i like games with good stories so will 8 be good? or should i play 10?

    (fyi:my right trigger is a bit loose so im afraid its just gonna pop out one day.. )

    Charging the Mirror

    Hello,

    I have a question. Basically, I just received the mirror. I read a guide that told me to go to the hut, however read elsewhere online that I can just straight up go down and try to encounter a dragon in the place south east of the church, however I haven't been lucky in doing so.

    I followed a guide which said to go find the hut near the river... but alas I couldn't locate it.

    What am I to do?

    Question about PS4 Slime Edition

    Question about leveling.

    I recently decided to start playing through the series in order and even finished the first game last week. I recently acquired the third party member. What is a good level to attempt to challenge the final boss?

    How do I exceed +99 rank offset?

    How do I get a professional star rating?

    I'm looking at the guide and it doesn't explain many effects like red fog. There are also Uber skills not listed in the guide. Is there a more complete guide than the Google doc?

    I'd also love to see an ability set list. Like for example the "strong ability breaker" ability set contains the white fog spell.
