    Very odd battle dialogue in XI S

    I cannot be the only one who is wondering who's voice is the one that says "Wow!" like an excited 10 year old after defeating monsters? I also hear another random sound that sounds like "Whoopee" that also doesn't make sense. I know it's not any of the party members because the voice is way too different and I never remember hearing it in the vanilla version of the game as I believe battle dialogue is new to the definitive version.

    I know this is a miniscule thing to question, but I also can't be the only one who hears it almost every other battle.

    Is NG+ available in Dragon Quest XI S?

    Dragon Quest XI is one of my favorite games and I beat it two years ago. Recently I bought the latest Dragon Quest XI S and I'd like to know if I can do NG+ in this new version. I tried to Google it and apparently you can sort of start NG+ via the 2D/3D trick (tbh I don't know what that means). But I also heard that it's not exactly ng+ so you will lose some items (kinda confused)

    Can someone please explain it to me? I'm playing on PS4 if that matters

    GigaSMash?

    TLDR; Is gigasmash worth it?

    So I'm a little confused right now I'm 9n my second playthrough of the game and the first time I went swords this time I am going GS but I have been looking up build guides and none of them even seem to mention gigasmash, even when I googled it it kept popping up gigaslash which doesn't help me. So I guess my question is, is gigasmash worth the 25 points or no? Is it just that bad that no one even uses it or is it just so obviously good that it's a must have?

    Can I play Dragon Quest Heroes (1) even though I just started playing the mainline games?

    I completed DQ1 & DQ2 and that's about it. Dragon Quest Heroes: Slime Edition has been in my steam library for a month now and I really want to play it but I'm afraid I won't appreciate the game as much. Does it have it's own story that's separate from the mainline games, or is it connected somehow? I want to finish as many games as I can from my backlog to buy other games cause the steam sale is coming soon (I have this rule where I can only buy games once I finish a certain number of games from my steam library)

    I've long been anti mobile gaming even though I have a switch and have had a gameboy of every type when I was growing up.

    I grumbled and bumbled about dq5 and not wanting to buy a 3ds.

    Well I'm happy to inform dq5 on mobile is amazing. I hated it at first until I saw I could move the … cursor/directional pad to the left of the screen instead of the middle.

    Amazing game and amazing port That is all

    Just beat calasmos and am not sure what to do besides the tockle pastword stuff. Is there anything to do on post game besides that? Done all names side quests that are in the side quest log

    I really like the concept and gameplay of DQB2 but when does it actually let me play the game?

    I have played for about 2 hours now, not a lot I know. But when can I actually play? Right now I am just running around and reading dialogue while doing really easy and short tasks. With lots more dialogue in-between.

    When does the game actually open up and stop feeling like a tutorial?

    DQ7 DLC still up?

    Can someone check if the DLC is still up? I have heard its 5 or so hours into the game and I just wrapped DQ8.

    Trying to decide if I should play XI or VII first… does the DLC add things that are worth it?

    What battle settings do you use?

    So I do as follows. For grinding or random monsters:

    Everyone on Fight Wisely tactics Battle Speed: Ultra-Fast

    For bosses or important encounters; Everyone on Follow Orders tactics Battle Speed: Normal

    Also I use the Classic Camera.

    What do you guys use?

    Please no spoilers on this thread since I'm halfway through the game. Thanks!

    First time playing through DQ 3 and working on my team (just got 3rd key ) and wondering when to change classes.

    I came across this in my searching
    https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Dragon_Warrior_III/Parties#A_Different_Approach
    and was using it as my basis, but it says to change classes below level 30. I already made my Soldier >Gadabout>Sage and the priest+mage are each 25. Is it better to take the Mage and Priest (first class for each) each to 38 then change so they each have all but the last spell or just change at 30 like it suggests?
