    Just Realized...the 3ds is the only console that can technically play every mainline dragon quest game (outside of the erdrik trilogy). What a beast!

    Dark world

    I recently beat leonyx for the second time and went to the dark world, where I destroyed all the Crystals. The problem Is in finding Canzar And the other boss monsters. Are they only in DQMJ2 Professional? Or do I need to beat Rigor Mortex? I Always go to the place where they are supposed to be, but it just teleports me somewhere else. Any help Will be appriciated.

    Should I "finish" DQXI or start over in DQXIS?

    So I got DQXI when it first came out in America. I LOVED IT...... except for the music quality. That MIDI BS drove me UP THE WALL, it was PAINFUL to play the game when I had played 8 on the PS2 and it had better music quality. As such I had to play a bit at a time, with a break in between.

    Well last break was TOO long, and now I can't find it.

    I have the CE chest, the book all that stuff, but no disc (PS4). I HOPE its here somewhere but I've scoured the house pretty thouroughly, and no luck. Buying the Switch edition seems like a no-brainer, but I THINK I was pretty far along the story, and I dont think I want to restart if its too much.

    So TITLE! Should I just buy a used copy of the PS4 version and finish with the awful sound quality, or do I cave and buy the S edition (Yes I DO have a switch) and start ALL THE WAY OVER?!

    Don't get me wrong, the story and gameplay were all AMAZING, and I WANT TO SEE THE ENDING, but I'm thinking of all my casino work, the levels, the tougher boss fights I'd have to redo, etc.

    Just starting DQ11 post game, and i have some questions [SPOILERS]

    First i want to say that this game is absolutely BRILLIANT. It's my first real experience with DQ and it exceeded every single one of my expectations and its easily one of my favorite games now.

    Okay so ik you might have to spoil a bit, so please spoil as little as possible. Anyways, ik that the true final boss is calasmus, that you go to defeat jasper and mordegon befote the tree falls, and a couple other things. I just have some questions to know that this wont ruin the characters.

    1.) when i go back For the story am i going to come back to the same "version" of the characters i played through the whole story with, or are these "new timeline" characters the ones i'll be with from this point on? I feel pretty attached to the characters after seeing them grow so much and face their hardships and i don't want to go do the post game and have these characters "erased" because we got rid of modegon early.

    2.) does the luminary keep all of his memory when going back? What exactly does he lose and retain?

    3.) is there ANYTHING i should do before i go to the past? Any outfits, any weapons, and recipes?

    Does dragon Quest 11 encourages favorites?

    So guys, i Just got sylvando on my party, forged New things for him, here my party details before: hero lv26 Erik LV 25 veronica LV 23 serena lv22

    So i put sylvando on Eric place because he was the most lv up companion for the moment, considering sylvando was LV 15 he was going to cover a Lot of ground but i love leveling and raising characters, is part of a RPG.

    Got out of gallopolis, the First fight gave me 2 metal slimes! It would be great for him. He level up! as so did Erik...

    Look, maybe for Someone Who wants to avoid grinding or only see the story is maybe cool having everyone leveling up together. But for me i feel like i din't earn that level at ALL, like the game was playing for me.

    Also This overshadows the last 3 companions, my Eric was 10 levels ahead with everything LV+3, sylvando does 1/3 of his damage. If This is the case why bother with the last ones If they're not the First you build or really like? I think everyone deserves It time to shine, when veronica or serena reached LV 26, i was gonna put Erik back. And i know Erik is always on standby for you but that is not active until he swaps with someone in a battle.

    Again i feel like i din't earn the level at all, there a way to make only the active party receive XP?

    First dungeon of Dragon Quest V.

    I was grinding out gold so I could get the boomerang, thorn whip, and the best armor available for Uptaten Tower. I haven't even gone there yet, I was just expecting I might need it.

    I finished getting it all and decided I should level the hero and Bianca a little bit more. I figured I'd get them "Up to ten".

    Damn you game. I understand what you're doing now.
