    Basically i've known DQ for as long as i've been alive and i always thought it was a meh series, all i knew was that the characters looked a lot like DBZ characters and that it was an iconic series but never got interested in it. Fast forward 3 months ago, i download DQXI from gamepass after having such an awesome experience with Octopath Traveler and having my love for JRPG's back and i just can't believe i missed on these treasures for 22 years, i actually feel dumb. So far i've finished V, VIII and XI with V being my absolute favorite, the story is just perfect. Just wanted to share this with y'all, can't wait to play all the remaining games!

    There are a couple games im looking forward to playing this next year, but above all else im most stoked on this dq3 remake, as octopath is one of my all time favorites. havent seen much about this since the announcement 5 months ago. anyone heard anything at all?

    In your opinion, what’s the hardest boss in the Dragon Quest series? Any boss or bosses you had trouble with?

    For me it was Arachtagon, Krystalinda, Gloomnivore, and the Auroral Serpent. I did end up beating them, but Jesus.

    Is there a 2D walk through anywhere for DQ 11?

    I want to do a draconian mode play through (Just the monster difficulty) but want to play in 3d, hit the end of the chapter, not complete it, switch to 2d, and play through the chapter again. I have a great 3d walk through, but can't for the life of me find a 2d. I don't want a video walk through though. If anyone has ever found one, please send me a link!?

    DQ XI S on XBox: Final achievement not unlocking

    Recently finished XI S as my first Dragon Quest game (loved it!) and have been cleaning up achievements. My last achievements were Dedicated Follower of Fashion and Living Legend (which is awarded for earning all other achievements).

    When I found out that unlocking the Hare-Raising suit required defeating the timewyrm I found this workaround to "earn" this achievement in 2D mode instead. It worked - I got the achievement exactly as described. But the Living Legend achievement didn't trigger with it. Now I'm stuck with 56/57 achievements and no Living Legend. :(

    I've tried:

    • Closing the game without saving, reopening the 2d save to trigger the Dedicated Follower of Fashion accolade a second time.
    • Continuing to play for 30-60 minutes in 2D mode and changing back to 3D mode
    • Downloading the game on a second console to try pulling my cloud save fresh. (I read a suggestion to delete the cloud save from your system but I got paranoid about actually committing to a delete... That's a lot of hours... figured a second system from scratch would be just as good..)
    • Opening the game in offline mode

    Any other suggestions?

    I've been looking around for ages for good pictures of the DQ3 Hero. I've found some neat ones but this one really caught my eye. Unfortunately the only places I can find it on the internet are in V-Jump scans (which have a bunch of shit covering it) or really low resolution ones. Would anyone happen to have this image somewhere? It'd mean a lot. Thanks in advance.

    Problem with playing XI on Xbox One S

    So I'm playing the game for the first time with Game Pass and I'm enjoying it so far.

    But I noticed there's no anti-aliasing and the game feels like it's running at 30 FPS. Both are noticeable and the lack of AA makes the game a bit nauseating because of how detailed the visuals are.

    I know this is a port of the Switch version, but I wonder if having an Xbox One S is making it run like this, or is the game like this on all platforms? I'm usually the last person to complain about these things since I usually play retro games, but for some reason it's a bit uncomfortable to play.

    So my question is, does the game run like this across all platforms or is it just mine? Should I wait until I get a better GPU and run it on PC instead? Any help is appreciated, thank you.
