    In XIs I think the crossbow minigame has been removed, presumably to stop people using 3d to 2d to farm the seeds that you get as rewards

    Second time for me in a DragonQuest game.
    The previuos one was the VIII (Loved it <3) , long time ago.

    BTW i remember so many treasures and item very well hidden, there is a GOOD guide where i can check the treasures or rare item locarion?

    Does Dragon Quest XI S get any more difficult?

    DQ veteran here. I've been playing since Dragon Warrior on the NES.

    I'm about 7 hours into XI S, and I am just breezing through it. It's so, so easy compared to what I'm used to. I'm wondering if I should restart with All Enemies Are Super Strong.

    Really enjoying XI, could end up my favorite DQ game, BUT...

    Why is the soundtrack so weak? It's very bland and forgettable compared to other games. The battle music(boss or otherwise) in particular is disappointing. Feels like they didn't even try. Compare this to War Cry or Fighting Spirit, it's no contest.

    [SPOILERS] New marriage option

    The new marriage options are a great improvement for this game (i mean, everyone would have liked to marry who they thought was the best girl cough Jade cough). Bromance, even if odd in some cases (like with eight, waiting you home like a good wife, asking if you want to go to bed) can be considered a good idea, but why in the world they give us the possibility to marry veronica, and they do not give us the quest/possibility to make her get her adult appearance? I mean, just think about it, the luminary walking around cobblestone with a 8 years child calling her 'his wife'. What the hell square? And they had the model of her as an adult too, it was so simple, they could make even a wish like for the marriage, if they didn't have the will to make a new quest, and puff, veronica is adult again. Don't have any clue on why they didn't this, it's just so cringy to watch 🤣
