Posted: 06 Feb 2020 10:09 AM PST I'm about 10 hours of play and I would like to change the aesthetic of the protagonist. I saw that the drasilian set exists, but I don't understand if it is post game or not since I read comments from people who had it after chapter 2. so that armor is post game or not? Do I loose much much by playing DQXI on PC instead of Switch? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 03:49 AM PST I know Switch has some additional stuff but I'm kinda a graphics maniac and Switch version doesn't look great at all on my 4K TV, plus it's only 30 FPS. I know orchestral music can be modded and I don't care about 2D mode. But what about other stuff? Is it serious? I hope they release DE on all platforms eventually so I can play with all content, but right now it seems unlikely so I thought I'm gonna play as it is. Just wanted to know if Im missing out on some game changing stuff. [link] [comments]
[XI:S] Are any of the Puerto Valor casino prizes worth it? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 03:18 AM PST Hey all! This is my first post on the DQ subreddit and XI:S is my first ever Dragon Quest game. Absolutely love it so far and I'll post my thoughts on it once I progress more in the story. I'm currently at Puerto Valor and I'm wondering if any of the prizes are worth it. I've never liked casino minigames in video games (thanks Pokémon), so I really don't want to go through the hassle if I can avoid it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 02:22 AM PST I'm looking at buying dragon quest 8 because I've heard good things about it. Are there any differences between the PS2 and the 3DS version? [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Feb 2020 02:33 PM PST I want to know what are your favourite dragon quest games! Personally my favourite is dragon quest ix as it was the first one I played back in the day and got me into RPGs!(also I'm new here 😅) [link] [comments]
Is it known how much HP Baramos regenerates between rounds? Posted: 05 Feb 2020 05:56 PM PST I welcome your dowvote. My last thread said I had one more question, but seeing as I am here making this post, that is not the case. With that said, I'm in the midst of a solo playthrough of Dragon Quest 3. I've been grinding a lot within his castle. I recently hit level 60 and I thought that might tip the scales in my favor. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I feel that it's incumbent upon me to explain my plan of attack, if you will. At the start of the fight, my first priority is casting Fizzle on him. After that, I cast Kazap on him and I heal myself as much as my MP will allow me to. After that, I spend the next few turns restoring my MP to 180-185. I repeat this cycle until I run out of Prayer rings. After that, he outlasts me and I die. I'm going to list my stats and equipment. After that, I have one more thing to say. Strength: 225 Agility: 255 Resilience: 194 Wisdom: 114 Luck: 113 Max HP: 395 Max MP: 226 Attack: 307 Defense: 217 Weapon: Thunderbolt Blade Armor: Spiked Armour Shield: Tempest Shield Helmet: Mask of Implacability Accessory: Meteorite Bracer I suppose that the solution to this dilemma is to keep grinding, but I'd like to make sure that I'm not overlooking something. DQXI on switch.. no first person mode? help Posted: 05 Feb 2020 10:56 AM PST I remembered the ps4 version had firs person mode when you clicked on the left stick. Now on the switch that is gone with the left click being replaced with auto run. Is there any way to get up close to things the way first person mode let you? I enjoy looking at the amazing detail in this game and as far as I know picture mode doesn't let you do this. I am greatful for any help on this. [link] [comments]
Can someone help me find an orchestrated version of this track? Posted: 05 Feb 2020 11:56 AM PST It's "Spring Flute" from Dragon Quest V. You can hear an orchestrated version of it in Dragon Quest XI (when you save Sniflheim), but I can't find that version of the track anywhere on YouTube. Can anyone help me out? [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Feb 2020 05:43 PM PST i've been stuck on the Tentacular boss for about a week now and it's gotten to the point where I have zero drive to play anymore it doesn't help that he gets 200 moves every turn and it gets to the point where I waste countless turns having to heal all of my teammates yes, i have the cannonball the lady gave me, i've tried spamming snooze but it misses every turn or only lasts a turn, and dazzle misses as well my team is around lvl 20-21 i'm frankly tired of grinding as well, i've done it countless times and it's not fun at all unless you encounter a metal slime, and even then they flee anyways i'm starting to play this game less and less because i keep encountering enemies that just one shot you every now and then and im tired of having to constantly grind because of it [link] [comments] |
