    DQ11 Difficulty Level restart or no

    Hi everyone!

    I just picked up DQ11on my nintendo switch and started playing on normal difficulty. I am at the point in the game where Veronica and her sister join my party and my characters are all level 12-13. I am finding the game extremely easy and can win everything with zero strategy.

    I heard about draconian settings where you can make monsters much harder to kill and no experience from weaker monsters. These settings really interested me, but I read that you can only put them on by starting a new game.

    I am the type that likes grinding, getting the best armour in order for a challenge. As my game stands now, I feel like I'm playing on cheat mode and I'm not even grinding levels.

    I am wondering if it's worth restarting my game to play with a higher difficulty level, or is there a cheat of some sort to change difficulty level on the switch mid game? Or, will the game somehow get magically harder (I highly doubt this though...)

    A few questions about late-game Dragon Quest 1 (Switch).

    I'm playing through DQ1 for the first time on the Switch version, and I do believe I've just opened up the final dungeon by making a bridge to the Dragon Lord's lair. At least... I assume this is the final dungeon? lol

    Anyway, I've got a few questions!

    1. My inventory is currently clogged full of crap. Do I need the Faerie Flute, Princess's Pledge or Mark of Erdrick for any reason still, or can I toss them?

    2. I'm level 18. Is this good enough for tackling the final dungeon or should I grind more?

    3. What level do I learn my last spell? I assume it's Sizzle, yeah?

    4. Where can I find Metal Slimes? I assume this game has Metal Slimes, yeah? What's the best way to tackle them in this game? Just mash Attack and hope for the best?

    Am I really the only one dealing with DQXI Switch crashes?

    There's hardly any info online beyond the demo, but my game constantly crashes. It's gotten especially bad in the ice region, where I can't fight more than five~eight encounters without the game crashing. It crashed often at the church early in the game too.

    I had seen videos a year or so ago of dragon quest 11 and thought it was the most beautiful game iv'e seen. I bought it yesterday to play while in quarantaine and it looks as great as what i remembered seeing in reviews of the game. I was wondering if anyone had found a game to be better looking than this
