I made a slime hat in AC new horizons

This was much easier to (amateurly) translate.

This quarantine gave me the time and patience to beat Dragon Warrior on NES for the first time in my life. What a grind.

Sorry, it was too difficult for me to try and translate all of this text. I can only understand a small portion. These were all the graphics combined from the books I have illustrating Chapter 1 since the last post.

New to the series - where next?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 11:11 AM PDT

After hearing great things about DQXI, I said "what the heck?", and got hold of I, II, and III on the Switch, thinking I should start from the beginning before playing the latest game. I have now beaten I and II back-to-back, and enjoyed both of those quite a bit, which I took as a good sign, because I heard the series didn't really come into it's potential until III. I even managed to get used to the odd graphics for these ports pretty quickly.

I wanted to save XI until at least finishing the original trilogy, but now I'm already feeling the pull of the other games in the series that came in-between, and I worry I might lose out on something (especially in seeing how the series develops, and possible callbacks) by skipping straight to XI after III.

Is there a good way to actually obtain and play these, though? I'm a bit distressed to find that the DS titles (IV, V, VI and...IX, I think?) are actually very expensive nowadays. I regret the fact that I slept on the series until now. I'm also hesitant to play them on mobile, given the need for touch controls.

Should I just wait for a Switch port of these titles? Is a port even rumored for IV onwards, or is it likely? I've still got III to keep me busy here for however long that game is, and I'm picking up a copy of Builders as well because of how it relates to the original game. I'll get Builders 2 at some point if I like the first one.

Does anyone have any suggestions about where I should go next with the series, and what I should try to seek out or what I should just wait for a port of? I know it has a ton of spinoff titles too, it's a little overwhelming.

Thank you!! My first dive into Dragon Quest has been a really positive one. I and II charmed the heck out of me.

DQXI: Am I really lucky or there is a trap that I don’t know about? I played about 15 minutes and got 4 times the jackpot in metal mode. Idk what happened. (I’m in the monster casino)

Now that it's been out on Netflix, what is your opinion on DQ: Your Story? (Spoilers)

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 07:13 AM PDT

I just finished watching it and want to know what others think about it! As a Dragon Quest fan I loved it. It felt like an abridged version of my favorite DQ. Now as a movie fan that's a different story.

    Quick Question about DQIII (Switch)

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 08:30 PM PDT

I'm nearing the final boss, and have two Sages on my team. I've noticed throughout the entire playthrough, they miss their attacking spells constantly. I'm talking, like, completely whiffing an entire party of 4 or 5 enemies with Kacrackle bad. I've gotten to the point I would rather just have my Hero and Martial Artist do all the work and have my Sages conserve MP for healing. Does magic actually have a naturally low accuracy in this game, or am I just getting insanely unlucky?

Final boss' castle, and Exp grinding

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 08:49 PM PDT

So I'm finally at Mordegon's castle in my first playthrough, but I can't even get past Indignus. I did some digging and I believe I'm very under leveled (Hero: 39 Hendrik: 41 Rab: 40 Jade: 42 Syl: 42 Erik: 42 and Serena: 44) So I'm curious where some good exp grind spots are and what strategies I should use to get exp to level up. Also any level recommendations for the final boss would be nice too! Thanks!

    Edwins Lantern Leveling

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 08:46 PM PDT

So I'm on my way to investigate the Lantern in Emerald Coast and I figured it's probably the final final boss. So my question is what level should everyone be? My Hero is like lvl 51 and the rest are now mid 30s
