    honestly probably one the most intricate, graphically compelling wall textures I've seen in a video game to date. Honestly way better than Pokémon SwSh. Give it a solid 9.5/10.

    DQ XI - Late Act 2 Advice

    Regarding Sylvando, is the charm bonus simply too high on a +2/+3 Mardi Garb to consider replacing it for Glad Rags? I suppose another way of asking the question is whether or not it's necessary to swap out the Mardi Garb at this point in the game.

    DQV: How to recruit monsters? help please!

    In the first few hours of the game, I recruited four monsters. Now almost 2/3rds of the way through the game, I've had no other monster offer to join the party. Is that normal? Why is that? Is it because my party is full at the time or what?

    [Dragon Quest XI] Quick question about exploring in Act 2

    So I've just left the last bastion in Act 2 and was wondering if it's still worth to explore every place thoroughly? I know that there are new monsters and sparkly spots, but what about Pots/Barrels, chests, recipe books (in shelves) etc. Are they "renewed" or changed or do they remain the same as in Act 1? Because I was pretty thorough with exploring in Act 1 and I don't want to do it all again if I'm not gonna find anything anyway.

    Need Help! DQ11

    Hey guys! I have just started playing DQ11 for the first time last weekend and cannot stop playing it! It's lots of fun, and I love the difficulty with the stronger monster option enabled. I'm currently in Gallopolis I do have some questions, maybe because I'm also new to the genre.

    How do I know which moves does the most damage? I'm often unsure if Flame slash, Sizz, or maybe another multiple target move is the best choice? Like flame slash does it depend on strenght or magical might or maybe both? If my enemy is a plant, will it get more damage from a fire attack? Does more MP necessary always mean more damage?

    I'm also a bit overwhemled with the newly joined Veronica, she has so many spells available at level 15 already, I'm often not sure if I'm making the right move choices

    Might be a weird question but anyone have tips for patience with the length of DQ games?

    For some reason I have a short attention span with most DQ games been though I really wanna play them all. I played DQXI for hours everyday after it came out until I finished it, but I'm having trouble staying engaged with DQVIII, anyone else feel like this/have advice?

    I just finished 11

    I'm lost lads. What a phenomenal game. I've got 1 through 3 on the switch (having already played the mobile ports) and I'll replay the beast in 2d mode later on. But at this point in time I'm Just blown away, the story was phenomenal. I initially had mixed feelings about going back in time l, but after a few hours it deffinitley felt like the right thing to do, and I'm a tad sad that the whole gang weren't in the final cut scene but I again totally see why due to story purposes. I waited 3 years from release avoiding spoilers like the plague (most of my hidden posts on reddit are from this sub ahah) and the last mainline game I played fresh was 8 in 2014 which I bought a ps2 for. I swear if I have to wait Another decade for a western mainline game I'm gonna break. I need my fix if high fantasy goodness

    It is literally AMAZING to have a character like Sylvando! I'm not finished with the game so idk if it ever specifically says he is gay.... but oh honey, we know.

    I just like the representation!! It's even cooler that no one seems to care and that everyone still treats him as the knight he is. Makes Dragon Quest 11 even more of one of my favorite RPGs. Just had to share 😅

    Dragon quest XI S help: Is my Nose for Treasure Glitched!?

    I have uses the 3D to 2D to 3D mode shift exploit multiple times to clone some useful items by replaying Act 2 many times. Now I returned to Act 3 to finish the game once and for all but my Nose for Treasure skill is driving me crazy! The pattern is always the same: I search for every single item, even using online maps, video guides etc. to find all the items of evey single map BUT, inevitably in some maps one or two items are missing. The thing is this always happen in maps where you are supposed to get recipe books from a shelf, which is doubly confusing because Nose for Treasure normally don't track shelf recipes. I don't belive that the skill is tracking items gifted to you by an NPC, because, should this be case it would be seriously incostintent about it, why it would track "this gifted item" but not "that gifted item". And in Gallopolis, nobody is gifting you anything and it still says "one piece of loot" is missing!

    Is anybody aware if the Nose for Treasure skill can bug out and begin track items that you can't get a second time? I don't know what to do!

    Dragon Quest XI S Help Please

    So I am at the point of the game where I am going around getting the 6 orbs. After getting the one in Phnom and the one near Warrior's Rest Inn, I decided to switch to 2D mode. I then stumbled on Snifheim and completed getting it's orb, so the only orb I hadn't gotten was the orb in the Eeire Eyire, but I knew about it cause I had visited the school in 3D mode before switching to 2D. After playing in 2D for all of Snifheim I decided I didn't like it and switched back to 3D. The only issue is now I have the silver orb from Eeire Eyire, which I haven't done. Is there a way I can do that content in 3D mode without replaying Snifheim in 3D mode? I have a 2D save after I finished Snifheim, one after I finished Phnom Nohn, and a 3D save after Snifheim that has the silver orb. Sorry for being so long wonder just looking for some advice.
