Dragon Quest XI is a Rollercoaster so far Posted: 02 Aug 2020 07:23 AM PDT Without spoilers, the 2nd half is just a tear jerker and depressing lol. Sylvando had me laughing in the beginning but man... This game is really good so far. If there are any of you out there that haven't gotten to this game yet, get to it. [link] [comments]

DQ11 PS4: Should I wait for Definitive Edition? Posted: 02 Aug 2020 09:21 AM PDT I heard it packs a lot of new stuff, but are they worth it? The problem is that it's coming out in December and I have no game to play at the moment. [link] [comments]

Any dragon quest games/spinoffs i should try? Posted: 02 Aug 2020 12:57 AM PDT I recently beat dq11 for the switch and it was amazing, i beat dq1 a while back so i had some knowledge of these games but after beating 11 i wanna try more games. Are there any mainline games or spinoffs that are really good and i should give a try? Anything is appreciated :) [link] [comments]
What are the odds on a Jackpot in the casino? Posted: 02 Aug 2020 08:26 AM PDT I entered metal mode on my first spin and got a Jackpot before my metal spins ran out, is there some benefit to a Jackpot beyond a lot of tokens? [link] [comments]

Joy con drift ruining text dialogue on Switch! Posted: 01 Aug 2020 02:28 PM PDT Let me start by saying this is definitely Nintendo's fault for the bad hardware, but seriously who makes the left analog stick advance dialogue? Never seen it before and I've been gaming for over 25 years. I wouldn't care other than how badly this pairs with Joy Con drift. My drift isn't bad so I've never bothered to fix it but this is the one game it seems to kind of ruin since a tiny drift skips dialogue. [link] [comments]
(DQ9) Cry Wolf Quest conditions? Posted: 02 Aug 2020 03:59 AM PDT So I found some scarewolves outside of Bloomingdale, and tried to do this quest. But after about 8 or so attempts, the game has only registered one as completed. The first couple attempts I raised my MA's tension by using Egg On and Psyche Up and then used War Cry and killed it with a regular attack. Only one of those counted though, so I tried to do it without raising tension and that also gave me nothing. Could someone help me, because I feel like I'm missing something? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Aug 2020 08:43 PM PDT I've seen DQ manga referenced in various sources regarding the mainline games, in this case specifically regarding DQVII. However the only manga I could find at all was the Dai series that came out some 20 years ago. Does manga based on the mainline games even exist, or is it just false information? How can I play dq V on a UK PS2 with English text? Posted: 01 Aug 2020 02:27 PM PDT Is it possible? I belive it was only released in Japanese? Would I need a modded ps2? Any help appreciated. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Aug 2020 05:14 PM PDT Like the title shows, im having trouble deciding on which version of the game to get. How bad exactly are the performance issues for switch? Also, i've heard that the PS4 pro performance is not exactly perfect either, both it and the switch suffering frame rate issues from insanely huge structures made by other people online. However, are these issues prevalent if im mostly gonna be focusing on the story and my own creations? I dont plan on using the online features too much. Since apparently even PS4 pro has its own problems with the game, im worried about my launch day ps4 overheating and dying on me lol. Honestly, the portability on switch is definitely a selling point, but i would like to hear others actual experiences in order to confirm what version i should go for. [link] [comments]
Dragon Quest V DS Postgame Content Posted: 01 Aug 2020 05:04 PM PDT Is it worth doing the postgame content? Just beat the game for the first time and trying to play through them all (V was my second one, after starting with IV). [link] [comments]
