    A few months ago my house caught fire and I lost the majority of my lifelong game collection (not from fire but from assholes breaking in before I was able to move everything)...But it turns out Dragon Quest VII and SOTN were in the album box, not the game boxes! Thanks jewel cases for not fitting

    I have gotten into the monsters side series of games. Dragon Quest Monsters 2 Joker is the best monsters game you can play in english, but SE has released THREE additional JP Exclusive games in the series in the meantime: Monsters Joker 2 Pro (basically an expanded version with more post game), Joker 3, a remake of Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, which is a GBC game everyone says is awesome.

    What the hell? Who can I call to yell at about this?

    Dragon Quest XI Novels? Do they exist? I want to write one!

    Hi there, I'm thinking of writing a fan novel of the Dragon Quest XI story (based on the original texts from the game) in my language - Slovenian. I was wondering if anyone knows:

    1. Are there any existing novels of the DQ11 story out there?
    2. How is it with the copyright? I know that Assassins Creed Books exists, must be simmilar.

    I just think that the story is so amazing, has so many twists that it must be told to the general public, even if they do not enjoy playing games, they might experience the story behind it 😊

    DQVII Casino Tips

    I'm at the Casino. Looking for tips on best game to play, which items I should not leave before getting in the card match games, etc.

    Not a fan of gambling, real currency or not. Already taking photos of the card match to make winning easier. Can't imagine how frustrating that game would have been pre-smartphone.

    trying to google this for half an hour now and cannot find a proper answer, people just refer to completing Nottagen which I've already done.

    I want to be able to create my own tablets, so I guess I need the attendee for MM?

    When exactly do I get him and where? I want to grind vocations. :)

    Only Japanese text?

    I recently bought Dragon Quest XI on switch from the Japanese online store (as I'm living in Japan) every other game sets its text to whatever language the system is in. But Dragon Quest doesn't seem to change language.. is There any way around this or am I speed running Japanese words for Potion and other things?

    I never had any problems with money on my first playthrough but now I'm lucky if I have 1K gold. How can I effectively farm Gold in acts 1 and 2?

    Best Vocation Path for DQ VI?

    Starting my first playthrough on the DS and wondering what the "best" path is. I'm mainly just looking to experience the story and finish the game, not do all the post game stuff. Given that, what's a good path to follow so I have strong characters without spending hours grinding vocations?

    I am personally let down by dragon quest 11 s.....

    so....I bought my copy on switch, LOVE the series.

    I felt like 11 on it's DEFAULT difficulty was extremely extremely easy. like, I don't recall having too much trouble, i may have game over'd a few times.

    I started over from the beginning with draconian quest activated, only one setting. I made the enemies stronger. here's the issue.

    the game is not playable. it's either VERY simple to beat, or impossible to beat the second boss. like. could they NOT have adjusted things so that I can actually enjoy the game? ONE difficulty setting = throw your nintendo switch into the fire. honestly...... All i want to do is fight tentacular, first off. it is not possible to sail to him without getting an encounter. not possible. when you do get there, he is confused, even though it doesn't even matter. he deals 70 damage even when i am buffed, and he gets 4 ATTACKS IN A DAMN ROW. is that necessary ? omg...... at this rate I will have to either spend hours and hours and hours grinding, or just stop playing the stupid game. level 27 is WAY too weak for the second boss. I am estimating level 50 is the minimum for fighting tentacular. do I REALLY need to spend 20 hours grinding just to get past this ......miniboss? he isn't even a boss, yet there is NO way I am even getting remotely close to killing him.

    I dont even want to play the series anymore thats how frustrating this stupid draconian mode is.
