    In DQ11 they constantly refer to Serena having a harp but in actuality if you search up the definition of harp and lyre you find she actually has a lyre not a harp and I thought this was some cool information to share.

    A new take on Dragonquest 1

    What if the King of Tantegel was the villain the whole time?

    Hear me out. So you are the MC that grew up in Tantegel or Brecconary thinking the king is a stand up guy. He sends you out to vanquish the Dragonlord.

    Along the journey you come to find that the Dragonlord has been trying to protect the people from the king. He put the golem in the entrance of Cantlin to keep the king and his forces out.

    Find some clues in destroyed Hauksness to whats really going on.

    Gwaelin could be the Dragonlords daughter that he hid to keep from the king. Maybe the king needs her to become the biggest bad. And your character delivered her to him.

    You meet the Dragonlord at Charlock and he asks you to Join Him. You say Yes and go take down the now publicly evil King.

    Just some thoughts I was coming up with while watching the new Dai series.

    Dragon Quest V/ Your Story questions

    Hey everyone so I need a little help clarifying a plot point that I found confusing. So I just watched the Dragon Quest Your Story movie which is based on DQV and I really LOVED it! (Though I doubt it holds a candle to the actual game) but it left me with a few major questions.

    THE ZENITHIAN SWORD - can only people with Zenithian blood hold the sword? Or is it that only the chosen hero can open the sword? - Does the main character have Zenithian blood in him? He should since his mom is Zenithian and she can talk to him with her mind, but then why wasn't the MC the Zenithian hero?

    Did you watch Dragon Quest Your Story? If you did what did you think about it?

    Trying to sync 100% DQV Android save data with cloud, says "No save data found".

    Resyncing all my data with Google Drive since Samsung Cloud is being discontinued and DQV is the only game giving me issues so far. Any ideas? It's a 100% save file so I really don't want to lose it.

    So in octagonia when the human casino opens i must have slept like 10 nights in a row and the girl near the tower doesnt tell me anything about anyome winning the jackpot soon. This is the switch version if that matters

    True Misery

    I have never experienced such existential dread until yesterday when I was playing DQ11S with all Draconian Quests on and decided that I was too weak to beat Tatsunaga so I had to grind some more to feel like I was strong enough. I used Haulelujah and Electro Light and just managed to kill a King and a Liquid Metal Slime. Then it said 'no experience was gained because the enemy was too weak'. So now I'm stuck at level 56 until I enter Act 3 when I assume the Metal Slimes get stronger. But the issue now is that I'm too strong for every other enemy so they won't give me exp either. I don't know if I'll be able to increase my level again by the final boss, but I assume I'm not strong enough as is. Could anyone tell me any better grinding spots?

    I'm on the mission called "My Slime to Shine" where I have to defend Healix. I have tried over 20 times and not even come close. I made it to the second wave about 5 times, with Healix in the red well before I got there. My team is around level 38. Am I just waaaaaaaaay underleveled? Or is there some strategy that just makes it easier? Or do I suck that much and should just give up the game? (Honestly I'd be fine with I suck and should just give up lol, this game is starting to feel like a chore)

    3ds Dragon Quest games

    So I never played any Dragon Quest game and I have a new 2ds. Which game do you recommend for starting in the series (of the ones that are available for 3ds like VII, VIII, X and XI). Are these games like sharing the same story so if you don't play VII you won't understand VIII for example? Tnx <3
