    Best versions of the older games to play? (PAL)

    Hey guys! So I'm fairly new to DQ but have been making my way through all the modern games (8 onwards) and I was wondering what is the best, or most accessible, way to play the older games? If they're physical copies I'd prefer PAL region ones for accessibility but am not adverse to other regions as long as I can get it in English :) Sorry if this has been asked before

    Are Old DragonQuest Games Good?

    Sorry, I'm sure there is lots of these type posts but I'd be grateful for any advice. I've just bought a switch and I'm thinking of dowloading a dragonquest game. The only dragonquest game I've played previously was number 9 think- on DS. I really liked it and would like something similar.

    The latest dragonquest game is very expensive while the oldest ones are very cheap- what are the main differences and is it worth me getting the older ones (and which one) or should I shell out for the latest?

    Mini medal farm

    This is for the games that want to earn mini medals in a fast way. In the post game when you unlock the trials go to the first 1 the disciple's triail There in the cryptic crypt's you find the Umbra monsters with mini medal As a common drop. Just use Erik's half inch and in 1 hour you can farm 50 medals(depending on your level and stats)

    Has anyone actually managed to beat the superboss without cheesing it?

    I'm talking about the timewyrm bastard that's exclusive to the definitive edition. I've lost to him a few times now and while I'm reluctant to just spam pep pops and elfin elixirs (due to not wanting to spend hours and hours grinding for them), I will if that's really the only way.

    It just frankly seems stupid for them to have made a boss so hard that the only way you could beat it is by grinding a shit ton of items and spamming yggdragons blessing. I like bosses that are difficult and require you to do a lot of thinking and planning, but this is just feels like you need to do a stupid gimmick in order to win.

    i am still confusing about time travel in DQ XI

    So when we time traveling in beginning of Act 3...We go to the another timeline? or still in the same timeline but in the past? and if we go to another timeline what happen to our original timeline?

    I accidentally gave the words of wisdom to the wrong party member and don't want them to be a sage. Is there any way I can get him to get rid of the words of wisdom they were given and give it to another party member

    The final game I’ll be playing in 2020. This year was terrible. However, when it came to gaming, it was actually one of the best years I ever had. I started 2020 with DQXI and now it’s time to end it with DQV

    Soundtrack Recommendation?

    So I just started DQ11S. It's my first DQ game and I'm really enjoying it. The soundtrack is nice but a bit repetitive for me. Do any of you have a recommendation of a movie or tv soundtrack to listen to as an alternative?

    So, I decided to get DQ3 for my mobile, and it's AWESOME. I have my Hero, a Priest, a Warrior, and a Gadabout, I think the class is? But yeah. I made it through the Path of Promise to reach Romaria, and the enemies there are MASSIVELY stronger, to the point it takes all four characters to bring down a single petrifido, which takes some doing when one of my party keeps taking naps and juggling! I dumped them all off on Patty to get myself so powerlevelling done around Reeve, but I feel like I need some tips and tricks to get anywhere. Please help!

    Dragon Quest XI: S Steam FOV Modifier?

    Is there an .ini config I can change to increase FOV so I'm not eating my characters ass 90% of the game? It's been giving me a headache making my enjoyment really nosedive.

    I'm a bit confused about what happened regarding Marcello at Neos. We destroyed the dog, all of a sudden Marcello betrays the party and Angelo, and throws us all in prison - is this just because of his ambition to become the next Lord High Priest, so Rolo doesn't get in his way, and he can blame us as well?

    And then LHP dies and Marcello picks up the spectre, but I guess he's too strong-willed to be controlled by Rhapthorne? After the events at Neos we weaken him allowing Rhapthorne to be reborn, but after that Marcello just walks away - not sure why. I assume I'll see him again soon though.
