    I'm surprised at how many people have the Achievement for beating the game. Usually, the Achievements related to the Story as you get farther in go down in percentage, usually anywhere from 10-15% most of the time, and some of those games are shorter. This game is long and it's 32.1%? I'm impressed.

    How many of you have played through all of DQXI in 2D mode?

    Most of the time I see people discuss this game online they're talking about 3D mode... which is understandable, especially considering 2D mode wasn't available in English until the Switch version came out. That said, I'm curious how many of you have played the entire game in 2D mode - what are your thoughts compared to 3D mode? Or maybe you've only played it in 2D? How was it?

    I'm probably not going to touch 2D mode because I don't like random encounters and the way the battles work, but I still think it's really neat that they've included what basically amounts to an entire second game just for the heck of it.

    Potentially missable stuff?

    So, Im having a blast with this game, currently on postgame.

    I usually tend to clear zones and then check the guides just in case I missed monsters or treasures, however, yesterday went back to Puerto Valor to play casino after doing Sylvando and Eight's side quest.

    However, when I went back to Don Rodrigo's villa to check flavor text, the butler gifted me with an awesome looking costume for Sylvando.

    There is literally not a single mention of this on the guides, in fact, I didnt even knew this outfit existed, so Im wondering if there are more "missable" stuff within the game?

    Just beat DQ XI (I think) Fantastic Game. Last DQ I played was back on the NES

    I mainly play online shooters and some reason started playing DQ because it was on Xbox Game Pass and I think I beat it. Got my characters to level 99 and smashed Calasmos and went through the ending credits and started the game back up and the dark one is still around... So not sure what else I need to do. Anyway I feel accomplished, I sunk in a lot of hours in this game and it was fantastic.

    I personally prefer Solo and male Erdrick over Sofia and female Erdrick.

    And I'm also kind off glad that they aren't in smash mainly cuz Madason and Alef got some cameo as alts since besides Solo, Eight, Erdrick and Luminary they are tied for 5th place in my fav hero list.

    despite that I really wish they would at least be in the final smash, welp maybe in the next smash game they'll at least make a cameo to make some happy.

    with that being said I respect your opinion if you don't agree we are all entitled to our own opinions thank you.

    I'm trying to make the supreme sword of light and I've got all I need for another sword of light for it but when I go to the crucible it says I don't, I've got the hammer and I've got 2 orichalcum ore, is there anything I'm missing for it, please help

    So I downloaded the bluestacks emulator for my pc. I see dq 5, 6, and 8 on it but not 7? Any ideas or are some games specific to certain emulators?

    I've always wanted a DQ game that you could just pull out for 15 - 30 minute bursts and be happy with that (Because, let's be honest with ourselves a bit here, Dragon Quest has never really been something that people just play for a short amount of time, no, if you play a mainline or spinoff on a console, you play it for a good 2-3 hours at a time). Yeah, I know there was DQ of the Stars, but that just didn't do it for me.

    I think I'm really going to like DQ Tact because I have been itching for a new DQM game (I know, its not the true style of DQM that everyone has been waiting for, but it'll get the job done for now, at least) and the fact that I loved playing similar games like Fire Emblem Heroes.

    Although the Closed Beta Test ran a little choppily on my smartphone, I think improvements will be/ already have been made to it to where it is more stable. If my phone still has issues, I can always transition over to my tablet.

    I really do think that DQ Tact will finally be that one game where people can just pick up and play as a little time killer for 15-30 mins every day in between more major Dragon Quest releases, and imo, DQ has sorely needed this type of game, and I couldn't be more excited to sink my teeth into it on the 27th (This Wednesday!)

    Question about Act 3

    So I've noticed that when I got sent back in time, it was to the time before we entered the First Forest. I've Zoomed to some previous locations that I had been to, after confirming there were no remaining "Treasures" in every area except for the one's that were locked with the Ultimate Key in Act 2. Heliodor Castle said it had 4 "Treasures" on the bottom floor, but I checked multiple times with the pots, shelves, and drawers, and there was nothing. I can only assume that it's detecting it as if it was the one from the prior act or the one in the future, so I went ahead without it. Are the Locations in Act 3 the same as the ones in Act 1? Because there was some treasure I had missed in places prior to the end of Act 1, and some that I could not obtain because of the Ultimate Key.

    Casino Roulette Jackpot Quest?

    I've been reading that waiting until the jackpot bunny says she thinks the whole pile will be hit soon, and then betting 2k on both 12 and 14 will give it to you within like 10-20 minutes. However, im on xbox and I've dumped over 200k coins using this method and it hasn't even gotten close. Wtf am I doing wrong? Act 3 Octagonia casino quest Xbone

    Dragon Quest VII Content

    So I played Dragon Warrior VII back when it was released on PlayStation. I beat it back then and did most of the post game except beat the bonus boss.

    However, my question is, does Dragon Quest VII 3DS have any additional content that wasn't in the PS version? I know the 3DS version streamlined the game's opening to speed it up. Just curious before I start pumping my time into the PS version.

    Tickington exclusive item discussion

    I beat a tickington quest and I received the "Gold Claws", and it is no where to be mentioned in this google sheets that has all items from Dragon Quest 11 , however, the gold claws are not in there, neither are some of the costumes you get only from the tickington area (black cat suit and others). Thus, the google sheet is only for the vanilla version of Dragon Quest 11, and not for the definitive edition. Because of this, I want to know all the items that can be recieved in Tickington and only in tickington. If anyone has a link for all quest rewards in tickington + the items that can only be bought (I.E. Black Cat Suit, Divine Dancer, Mega Medal Maniac, Crimson cat suit ), I'd greatly appreciate it, as most guides are only getting past words, not the rewards.

    Last thing to note is I've seen this GameFAQ that talks about some of the items, though they don't mention all of the items (no Gold Claws), neither where to get them (for most of the items). So please help find a link and perhaps we can get a new and improved google sheets that has the updated information.
