    Hey guys, really enjoying my first time playing through the story and game, super fun. I've heard from others it gets a bit tougher depending on your level, so I grinded a bit. Right now I believe I'm near the end of act 1, we just got all 6 orbs from sniflheim. Everyone in my party is level 38-39. Should I go higher or progress with the story? I have no dragonian quests on, just normal game.

    Starting some new games

    So I recently bought DQVII for my 3DS on the eshop as well as DQVI for the DS that's coming in the mail soon. Ever since beating DQXI I've been itching to play older games from the franchise. I especially like JRPGs woth a class/job system so I was wondering if DQVI is any kind of decent? I looked up a basic plot summary without spoiling anything and it seems like a fairly interesting premise. Same for DQVII with the different tablets you find to "unlock" different pieces of the world. Without spoiling both games I wanted y'alls opinion on them and if they're worth putting hours of time and attention towards.

    Looking for some help on Dragon Quest of the Stars.

    Hello! I'm hoping someone can help me with the beginning of the game. I'm hoping to reroll for a decent start. But things I've read online have mentioned for rerolling that there's a 10 item draw you get to before resetting. I've played about an hour and have yet to find a draw like that. Can someone give me some advise?

    I’ve recently beaten XI and I’m nearly finished with III. WHICH GAME SHOULD I PLAY NEXT? V or VI?

    I'LL BE PLAYING THE IOS REPORT OF V OR VI*

    I've beaten 1, (soon 3), 4, 5, 8, 9, and 11.

    I've played VI but stopped somewhere before the end (this was ten or so years ago when the DS port came out).

    I've played and beaten V, but it was also when the DS port released in NA.

    I'm loving the job system in III And I know 6 has a job System, but I'm also interested in tapping into the monsters in 5 that I don't remember really messing with in my first go through.

    The main things I am after are:

    • a lot of Post game content

    • A lot of post game bosses

    • fun party customization (basically monsters versus vocations)

    My main pull towards both are:

    • V is like the best in the series. I have only fond memories of it.

    VI I haven't beaten and I'd like to beat them all. I don't know why I got burnt out on it / stopped playing. I don't even think I got to where you fight Mortimer.

    But ultimately I think it comes down to what will bring me more enjoyment: vocations or monster recruitment.

    So given all that, what do think I should play?

    Hey everyone I'm at the fortress of fear in act 2. Is there any way I can get belles bow and duplicate it. I heard since I played the switch version I am able to do this. I do not currently have belles bow. Let me know what I need to do

    I'm in the postgame currently doing the three trials (up to the trial of sage), and am basically finding it impossible to win any major battles. I'm stuck on every single available one (Bathysfear, Merking, Ethereal Serpent, giant Lizard @Battleground, All Consuming Greed) where the enemies all seem to be extremely OP and whenever I look up battle FAQs it's just people complaining that the battles are absurdly difficult and hax.

    My party is all lvl 50 and has had not much trouble so far - is the only solution to grind like 20 + levels? I find that extremely boring and so it doesn't make sense to play the game anymore.

    Song Request: Dragon Quest 11 Post Game

    I'm trying to track down the song that plays during the banquet scene that "King Carnelian" throws for you after traveling back in time and successfully thwarting the evil plot. It's the only time I remember it playing in the game, so unfortunately that's my only reference. I've attached a timestamped clip that plays the song.

    Zenithian trilogy PSX?

    So, my situation right now is as follows:

    I want to play DQ IV-VI but the DS version on my 3DS looks blurry and integrer scale is too small, and I don't have acess to my PC. The SNES versions are too antiquated, and IV doesn't even have one.

    So is there any efforts of translating the PSX versions?
