    So when Serenica travels back in time and sees Erdwin again that creates the DQIII timeline right? I think I heard that somewhere but I'm not sure.

    Also, they showed a guy in armor pick up the Sword of Light on top of a mountain. Is he a hero from one of the prior 10 Dragon Quest games? Or is it a hint towards DQ 12? Or is he a future hero in the DQ 11 timeline?

    When should I start upgrading weapons via Forge?

    I beat Gloomivore, who I had a tough time with9and for the record: A. I don't have Sylv's heal all, and I only assumed Insulate had a one turn thing)

    So I'm wondering when a good time to focus on using the Forge to upgrade my weapons is.

    DQ9 Multiplayer Help

    Hey all, very new Reddit user here and I have a couple questions for those who can answer them. Back in March I recently discovered MelonDS, Dolphin, and Parsec. Well in an effort to play one of my favorite games with my best friend Dragon Quest IX. Well I spent nearly this entire time looking on how to actually do this with my friend and well two days ago there was no luck on it. What we used went by the post of u/SaltyKoopa regarding how to do so. No matter what I looked into and what I tried to do we never got a connection to each other even though we had a connection to DS wifi. We used AltWFC and Wiimfi for our DNS's and no luck. The only thing I can think of is that I was using Direct Input and NPCap for wifi and my friend was using Indirect with Libsplirp which Idk if was working due to it just not being documented. I would absolutely love any help if anyone knows if I did anything wrong. I am going to try my best to respond to all the questions and I just want to get this to work since he hasn't played the game ever before and I want his reactions. Thank you.

    Would you like for dq12 to be an 11-esque call back to the zenithian trilogy as 11 was to the erdrick trilogy? I feel like it would be harder to do as the games aren't as connected but I think it could be cool.

    (DQ1) A good place to grind before entering Dragonlord castle?

    Hello, this is my first Dragon Quest game and I'm playing it on the switch. I've been gridning xp at the entrance of Dragonlord castle (Outside, where the rainbow bridge is) and I'm Lv.18 so far but it's kind of taking a while. I'm okay with the pace because it's honestly not bad, 70-100 exp every encounter. But is there an easier way? I don't want to have to this if there is a better place. I already know of the metal slime but their encounter rate is pretty bad. I know you can't really be picky in with these early JRPGs but I'll take any help I can get. One more question, is the grind this tiresome in DQ2 and DQ3? Or is it a little better?

    How to jump back in to DQ11? [Post Game Spoilers]

    I finished DQ11 a while back and started into the post game content a couple years ago. The other night I briefly dipped my toes into the post game again and realized I had no clue where I was or what I was doing. Part of me wants to start over but the other part of me just wants to pick up from where I left off. I know about the quest log but I do know that there is a lot of other content that is not in the quest log at all. (Trials etc.) Is there any way in game to keep track of the extra content that isn't listed within the game?

    Help with jade's costumes

    How feasible is this? (Modding)

    So like, you know the 'Townsfolk Talk Tripe' Draconian Quest setting? Do you reckon it's possible to modify those to remove the whole "haha I lied actually" bit afterwards, thus making it actually like, more believable? I think it'd be really fun to have an NPC say one of the things that sounds actually reasonable, and you mistakenly think that's their real dialogue. As it is, it's kind of just a silly gag for a split second, which feels like a real wasted opportunity in a franchise where you learn what you're supposed to do next via NPCs.

    Tangentially, are there any good mods in general I don't know about? I just see a whole lot of recolour mods on the Nexus <!or mods to make Jade hornier, you degenerates!>, but I'd love other stuff to spice up my next playthrough. I'm assuming probably not, but I can always ask.
