    Is DQXI S OOP on Switch?

    [Note: I'm in Canada.]

    For a long while, physical copies of DQXI:S went for $64.99 on Amazon, but a few months ago the price started rising and hasn't stopped.

    Is it actually OOP, or are the stores just not getting stock? I'd assumed the latter as this game surely had a bigger print run than previous DQs (I know Builders for Switch is OOP), but I'd like to know if I should grab one on eBay before it gets even worse.

    Glitch with Crimsonite in DQXI.

    Hey guys - I was curious if anyone was experiencing this in the latest DQ game (I couldn't find anything when I googled).

    I am attempting to gather crimsonite but am experiencing a glitch where it says I've collected it but it does not appear in my inventory. I've tried every method (trading serpent souls with Krystalinda and winning the Dark Cup in Gallopalis) and each instance will say in the text box that I've collected a "chunk of crimsonite" but it simply does not appear in my inventory. I attempted shutting the game down and reloading and it does not fix the problem.

    I'm playing on the Nintendo Switch.

    I started a Dragon quest game for the first time. I'm enjoying it now.I've played the previous FF, Chrono and Persona series and I've been wanting to start this series for years. I'll post my thoughts here as I play.

    What was your earliest memory of seeing anything dragon quest related? Can be a poster, a commercial, or something else. The earliest memory of dragon quest I can remember was seeing a DQ 8 standee in a video game store I use to go to. I wish I knew more about the series back then.

    I have managed to find all Crests and now need to get through Cave to Rhone. Before I do that I need 2 Shields of Strength and Falcon Sword for Prince Cannock.

    Where should I perform gold grinding? Places I'm considering: Around Beran, in Volcano Dungeon or inside Cave to Rhone. Unless there's a better spot.

    Steam Dragon Quest XI Definitive Edition Crashes when Launching

    I used to play the old version of Dragon Quest XI on Steam through Family sharing, but since my friend often played when I wanted to I decided to buy the game. The old version isnt available in the shop anymore so I had to get the Definitive Edition.

    Thinking I was real smart I copied the files of the old game into the new game folder (I am not sure if its even important but I dont want to let anything out), well - kept installing the new game, tried to start it up, got an Error about Criware - Game crashed - deinstalled the new & the old game, reinstalled the new game - still same Error & Crash

    We already tried following the instructions of the error, didnt work (at this point I dont even fucking care about the savefiles I just wanna play the game)
    We tried:
    - reinstalling
    - deleting the old game & then reinstalling the new one
    - updating drivers, updating system/updating anything we could
    - deleting savefiles
    - deactivating steamcloud
    - Steam game "selfrepair"
    - deactivating firewall
    Oh and the system does meet the requirements needed for the game, and honestly I don't even think the error is the problem. Idk anymore what to do at this point - pretty much clueless, heeelp

    Frustrated!

    I just find it so incredibly frustrating that most of the dragon quest games aren't easily available here in the west. Like obviously Square Enix knows fans want these games. Why make them suffer? What's the point have a game this good almost totally exclusive to Japan? Rant over.

    Help with a team for DQIX?

    beat the game once years ago and am replaying it now, only now I'm aiming to complete the post game. I heard the post game is ridiculously hard, so I'm building up a team to take it on and want to know if completing the post game is feasible with the team I'll have:

    -Sage with some levels in mage to get wizard skills, and a lot of levels in armentalist to get fource skills. I just got falcon slash with the sword, is getting omnivocational swordmaster a possibility with this character? Currently at armentalist 31 -priest with some levels in minstrel as well as some levels in a vocation with a shield to get magic mirror -Gladiator with lots of levels in warrior to get omnivocational shieldmaster, a few levels in thief to get half-inch, and a few levels in ranger just to boost axe skill -paladin with a bunch of levels in mage, getting a lot of mage abilities including spooky aura.

    Is this team something that can take on the post game? What changes should I make to it?
