    [SPOILERS] I have a question regarding DQ11 Act I to Act II issue

    At the end of Act 1 The Hero has their Luminary magic stolen and destoryed.....

    Act II is you as a fish with the luminary symbol on your stomach....

    Become human again and your Luminary symbol is gone from your hand......

    WHY do you as the fish have the symbol on your stomach if you do not have the Luminary symbol on your body anymore once human?!

    Is this ever explained?

    Hi !

    I want to play Dragon Quest for the first time, but I don't know how to start...

    I've PC, Xbox Series S (GamePass Ultimate), Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, iOS Devices and a Macbook (M1).
    I love the anime based on Daï Story, the universe is very colorfull et peacefull for my mind. I love J-RPG like Xenoblade, Final Fantasy 3 (DS) and also turn-based rpg like octopath traveler.

    In all the DQ it's the same map and universe (based on Dragon Knight legend ) ?
    The First DQ seem good but very old, and i understood that the 1, 2 and 3 follow each other ?

    DQ XI seems very good but i'm afraid to play another after ...

    Help Finding Dragon Quest Video

    I have no clue if it was a trailer or a video for an anniversary but there's a video of people playing Dragon Quest throughout the years. I think there's an early scene of a kid booting up a Super Famicom to play. I can't for the life of me find this video anywhere.

    Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

    I saw the games were on sale and i wanna get a copy on ps4. I saw there was a definitive edition, an edition of light and an 'S' version. What is the difference between all of them?

    Playing dq11 on stronger monsters. Question about going into act2 and the remaining difficulty level (spoilers)

    So my first run through the game I beat the little girl in the wall on regular and I thought it was just too easy. So I started over with stronger monsters.

    The most difficult boss by far was the damn bird in Eerie, but that was only because I feel like that fight was just imbalanced a bit on the difficult side if you don't go in with scorched earth and stuff.

    Got to the girl and fought her, and i very barely beat her on the first try (one character left alive with about one good hit left in her and she was disabled, rubble rouser saved me).

    Anyway, so with this under my belt I was at the point where I left off the first time and didn't know what really to expect with the witch, except I knew she had ice attacks.

    So I way over prepped, thinking it would be basically impossible to beat her. I had everyone with 2x +3 ice earrings and +3 fur hoods, elemental robes, best gear minus the platinum sword because eh I don't like the casino

    I beat her very easily , I used hynm of ice, oomple on mc with 2 handed skills, and everyone was super buffed 2x with basically everything (agility, kabuff, magic res, ice hymm, she was kasapped, decelerated)

    Even as she brought snow storms and turned me into snowman periodically, I left the fight with full hp and I felt like it was the easiest boss fight the before slayer of the sands.

    So my question here is, is every boss fright from here going to be similar? What should I expect in terms of difficulty for the rest of the game, and post game? Am I going to get a wanke up call to reality and get my ass handed to me?

    am i ready for the final boss without use of the wagon?

    got hero, milly, carver, and nevan in their 60's and maxed all available classes and have them all as hero's. well all classes besides dragon and the post game class. this is on the DS version btw. i'm trying to get terry up to speed, but was wondering if its necessary.

    i just worry as i had trouble with murdaw earlier in the game and had to over level before classes were even available. i haven't entered the dread realm yet, so have been over grinding.

    i beat the game years ago, it said i was level 46 when i did it before. i just want as little issue with mortamor as possible, as i feel it can be another murdaw situation, i probably struggled back then but don't remember lol.

    how do stamps cards work in DQ8?

    I am playing through DQ8 for the first time and I have to complete stamp cards in cameron's codex for the gothic vestement and I can not find an explanation or a guide to the stamp cards online. Does anyone know how it works

    Does Accelerate actually nerf you in a few more turns?

    Does acceleratle actually hinder you in 3d? You go first most of the time but then have to heal when the boss attacks next turn. rinse repeat until it wears off and the boss essentially gets two turns in a row

    Is DQ2's Hero the worst?

    He's the only main hero in the series who has no magical ability. It's disturbing to think a grown adult could do his job better.
