    Hello, it's a little nuisance, but the system (in all three games involved) does not show, which saved position is the latest. There can be four possibilities, either one of the three main save slots and on top of that the quick save feature. When I was playing DQ4 and DQ5 on DS, there was date next to the save position, so I knew.
    When I arrive home after a day full of work, I really don't remember which was the last save, the Switch version only shows the level of the hero on the save position (what if it's the same?) and regarding the quick save, nothing is shown.
    I know I can write it down, write it on a computer or phone...being a lazy person, this is a nuisance, too. Now I have a simple "system": (1) unless there is a special consideration, I only use save slot "1" or quicksave. (2) there's a pen and a cup on the shelf where I store my Switch - when I put the pen in the cup, that means the "normal" slot is the latest, when I put it out, the quicksave is the latest. Somehow stupid, but it works for me.
    If everything else fails, I can load each saved game and count the experience points of the hero each time and compare those.

    Are you able to find the Tockles with Pastwords in 2d mode?

    I recently started my first 2d playthrough after not playing dq11 for around 2 years and I came across the town full of the adorable little creatures known as Tockles. I've played every dragon quest game so I thought it would be entertaining and worth my time to go and hunt down every password. Naturally I didn't feel like searching the entire world for these little ghosts so I looked up a guide but I have been unable to find the Tockles in the world. The first one was supposed to be in the Gallopolis region near the southern campsite but I have not been able to find it. Seeing as how Tickington is exclusively 2d it would make sense if you could find the Tockles while in 2d as well but I have only been able to see them in 3d mode. Am I able to find the Tockles while playing in 2d mode or will I have to switch between 3d and 2d mode every time I want to find one for the password?

    Are the Recruitable Monsters in DQ V the same between versions? (PS2)

    I see that Rotten Apple, Slime Knight, Golem, and Orc King are highly recommended monsters in the DS version. Does this also apply to the SNES and PS2 versions of the game, or are the monsters different there? I'm playing the PS2 translation at the moment.

    [DQ6 DS] Hints to the last key? (spoilers)

    After DQ XI resparked my love, I decided to go back and play all the games I'd never played/finished. Now I'm on DQ VI.

    I've done pretty well so far making this a no-guide run (though Madame Luca has gotten very familiar with me). I'm up to the part where I have to climb the tower to release Pegasus, but I can't even get in, so apparently, I missed the last key (for barred doors) somewhere along the line.

    I could just hit the net and find a guide to tell me exactly where it is, but I'm explicitly trying to avoid that. If someone has a hint just on where to start looking for the in-game pointers, I'd appreciate it.

    DLC content for DQIX on Desmume emulator. Is it possible?

    Hi all. Wondering if anyone could help me on this. I have the game working via this emulator but I know I won't be able to access the extra content which I would like to. I have downloaded the Dragon Quest IX Save Data Editor but I am having trouble converting the files from the emulator to . SAV files to make the adjustments.Just wanted to ask just in case anyone has already done this themselves. If its not possible I am happy to play the game as is but just wanted to see if I could get the most out of it.
