[Spoilers] Dragon quest 3 grinding advice Posted: 08 Sep 2021 07:48 AM PDT I beat baramos and have already gotten access to Zoma's castle. I'm grinding to a high enough level to fight him. Is it better to grind for the metal slimes next to rimuldar or in the castle? [link] [comments]

Questions about dq3 remake and switch releases Posted: 08 Sep 2021 08:28 AM PDT Hey guys, I finished dq1 and dq2 recently and enjoyed the experience. I wanna finish the trilogy and move on to other dq games but I was wondering if 4-10 will come to switch also, since that's where I play it. Does anyone know a potential release date for the new remake for dq3? [link] [comments]

Just finished Dq11, what should I play next? Posted: 07 Sep 2021 03:41 PM PDT I just finished act 3 and man oh man I loved this game. What should I play next? I'm thinking probably 3 just because of all the visual parallels in 11. But I'm wondering if I should move directly into 7 or 8. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Sep 2021 01:12 AM PDT So, I've been trying to put myself into the DQ series, and I'm wonder on which game to start at; (I've played XI S for a couple of hours and I haven't made much progression in it, I didn't grind at all so things are harder for me :aaa:, I sometimes get overwhelmed at large places, and I'm wasting hours wondering if I should play in 3D or 2D mode) Do I need to play the past games before this one? (I know it's a no, but I just need a confirmation, if you know what I mean) Is the story good? Is the game overall good? And is there any other DQ games (in the series) that I should try out? Sorry if that was one too many questions, I just need to know if I'm getting a solid game, is all :"0 [link] [comments]
I’m a little lost… why is Dai all of a sudden a thing in the western community? Posted: 07 Sep 2021 12:07 PM PDT I remember reading the Dragon Quest manga a LONG time ago, like 10 years ago maybe, and it was pretty obscure back then. Why is it relevant now all of a sudden? Not trying to be shady or anything I'm just genuinely confused, I feel like I missed some important news or something [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Sep 2021 10:15 AM PDT Just finished the main campaign, awesome game. But is a very long game and I have a huge backlog. Algo, how many hours do you guys think it take to complete? [link] [comments]
How hard is it to get DQ8 on 3DS? Posted: 07 Sep 2021 11:41 PM PDT Due to complications with my old 3DS I have to either buy a new 3DS to get DQ8 or buy a physical copy. But there's one issue….nearly no one sells one for 3DS. Is it really that hard to get one single copy? Let alone have it shipped to your house? At this point I might just save up for a 2DS to get a digital version of DQ8. Or should I just get it on my phone? I just wanna play DQ8, idc how but its so difficult and wanted opinions before deciding. [link] [comments]
Dragon Quest 3, too weak to beat Orochi best place to grind? Posted: 07 Sep 2021 01:50 PM PDT SO i finally fight Orochi and he keeps kicking my ass, im too under leveled, where's the best place to grind/fastest way? [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Sep 2021 11:55 AM PDT I'm at level 43 on my Hero and I have about 250000 gold and just want to see if I buy/forge weapons and armor to try and coast it somehow. What shop has the best equipment near end-game? And what recipes should I try and get to beat the remainder of the game? Any recommended equipment/spells? I don't mind gathering materials if that's what it takes. Some of the late-game equipment is really tough to forge. [link] [comments]
How good is the fan translation of Dragon Quest V for the PS2? Posted: 07 Sep 2021 05:58 PM PDT Hello! A couple of months ago, I played through the DS version of Dragon Quest V and absolutely adored it, and have since been curious about its other versions, in particular the PS2 version for its fully 3D look and the prospect of playing the game on my TV. I really liked the official localization, but am aware that the fan translation is more faithful to the original Japanese script and doesn't have that quirky flavour of modern DQ localizations. That said, I wonder how good is the writing still? Is it just as good but in a different way, perhaps? I'd like to hear your thoughts before I commit to a full playthrough of it, so thanks!
