    For a grand finale and because this was a giant leap in Dragon Quest, I upped the number of colors to include all three of the ones in the logo (likely blue for sea, green for air, and brown for land because the air is green in Japan as well all know).

    I thought about going up to 9, but even in the Japanese artbooks I have there isn't much in the way of art shown, for whatever reason. I made these in super high resolution to start so that when it's shrunk down it looks better versus the reverse of that, and DQ9 just doesn't have much for art that I can scan at a high resolution. DQ11 presumably does, but I haven't yet purchased the art book for that (all the others I bought while I was still living in Japan). Hope everyone enjoys the poster art I did.

    Will there ever be a possibility of Dragon Quest Steam releases?

    With Square Enix releasing Final Fantasy games onto Steam, could this mean there will ever be a possibility of Dragon Quest games being released onto Steam? Just wondering if there has ever been any news on this.

    I know the western market for Dragon Quest is not as big, but I still would love to be able to play old DQ games.

    Any scans of a Dragon Quest VI manual for DS?

    So, I just started up DQVI. In class-system RPGs, I'm never sure how much I'm supposed to know before I start, so I read the manual and hope it hints about prestige and prerequisites and so on. But I don't have the manual for this game and I can't scans online. I could just be terrible at Googling.

    But if there aren't scans available, would someone in the community be willing to scan and upload something rough for me? Or even better, post it on replacementdocs.com or some other site for preservation?

    DQMJ2 Calculator Progress Break

    Hey everyone. I wanted to let you all know, the calculator's progress will be delayed a bit. Having what coders call burnout at the moment with my coding and building this. Although I have a semi-working test calculation version using spreadsheets, found some bugs in it though, I may need more time than October as deadline. I honestly need a break cause with me recently been talking about it making it seem like a recent project, it's been an idea I've been tinkering with and process of building for almost 9 months without you knowing background of this and it's annoying to stop for a bit to freshen my mind before I could finish it.

    Hope you all understand and can wait a bit longer for it's initial test launch to be finished.

    I really hope I didn't just break something, but, thanks to a fortuitously timed crit, I managed to beat the monster in Despairia when I was still weakened (I didn't notice I was weakened until I was in the fight). He didn't say anything afterwards or anything.

    Should I reload my save before I go check the lagoon everyone in town is nattering about, or am I OK?

    Which DQ games would you consider worse than DQ6?

    6 and 7 are the only games left I have not played but 6 does not seem to get much love so it would be good if I had a frame of reference before starting it as to what it's like compared to the others in the series (I have enjoyed all the others)
