Game like dragon Quest 11 but as an Arpg Posted: 20 Dec 2021 12:43 AM PST Please don't get this wrong, I think it is great that Enix made this game, but after playing the demo on the switch the turn based combat is not my thing. But I think it is amazing that Enix still made a game of this Scale and effort with tb combat. It is just not my thing. But I based of what I saw, I liked a lot of the rest of the game especially the art style and the general vibe. Now the reason I write this. Do you know a game with a similar look and feel of dragon Quest but with action based/real time combat? I already own FF15 and Ni No Kuni II. So maby different ones. Please stay friendly, I know a lot of the people here love their turn based combat. [link] [comments]

Can’t play as long as I’d like Posted: 20 Dec 2021 12:55 AM PST I'm playing on Xbox series S and I find the game visually tiring. After a while I actually get a headache. It's from panning the camera I think. The textures kinda shimmer as you pan around, there also appears to be some screen tearing. Not really had this issue before. I've messed a little with camera speed but doesn't seem to help. All I can think is sit further from the TV (it's a decent OLED). I've not really had this issue before and I play a lot of games. It's baffling me. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Dec 2021 05:18 PM PST I understand this question has been asked many, many times before, before you criticize me. So recently, I have getting into the dragon quest series through 8 on the 3ds, and I love it! I now want to experience every game in the series, and every time I have searched this question up, it is outdated or there are many conflicting opinions, so I am asking which version of every game I should play first (I am aware of X)? What happens if you enter the Monster Arena with everyone else dead? Posted: 19 Dec 2021 06:18 PM PST So if you enter the monster arena with Morrie in front, the game switches to the second party member. But what happens if everyone else besides Morrie is dead? From what I tested on Citra, the game seems to hang, but I want someone to test it on real hardware. [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Dec 2021 09:11 PM PST Are they worth it? I would get 1-2 4-5 (3 im going to wait for the 2.5D release, cause I loved Octopath Traveler, so its a must have for me) The others I think I have them on the DS and 3DS somewhere, but never got the time to play them. Any thoughts? I have a really nice gaming phone btw. [link] [comments]
Just started DQ 11. Are all the towns so big? Posted: 19 Dec 2021 06:55 PM PST I like the game so far, but the size of the towns are really turning me off. I've only been to the initial town and Heliodor, but I am sort of bummed on how big they are. One of my major complaints is the sheer amount of NPC's in huge towns. Actually getting inside the castle in Heliodor really irked me as well, with just too much empty space. Don't get me wrong, they are laid out well, and navigation is surprisingly easy, but I am hoping that each town in the game won't be like this. Are they all this big? [link] [comments]
Quick Dumb question about a DQIII quest item Posted: 19 Dec 2021 06:27 PM PST How the hell was I supposed to know to throw the mountain cleaver into the volcano? I'm assuming there's an NPC somewhere but I couldn't figure it out for the life of me… [link] [comments]
Is there a DQVC server still ongoing? Posted: 19 Dec 2021 03:25 PM PST I decided to reset DQIX because I had beaten it and I used an action replay to "unlock" a lot of the online stuff, but I wonder if there's a DNS I can input to connection settings to get the online stuff like how Gen 5 has a server to get past event Pokémon.
