Dragon quest X translation options Akhmon vs Clarity Posted: 08 Feb 2022 07:12 AM PST I know that neither Akhmon or Clarity are not perfect, but I was wondering if using clarity is just the better option, making akhmon obsolete. They both use the same APIs for machine translation and clarity also has hand translated parts I thought. Clarity also has a habit of missing the first box of text that pops up, so Im not sure. Bianca, Nera and Deborah birth order? Posted: 07 Feb 2022 06:35 PM PST So in Dragon Quest 5, the three possible brides are most likely sisters (Nera and Deborah being sisters for sure, and Bianca's identical origin to the other two in being found under a tree as a baby strongly implying that she is their sister as well). I was wondering what their most likely birth order would be. We know for sure that Deborah is older than Nera. We've seen both of them as little kids in the opening of DQ5 so both would be around the same age as each other as well as the Hero (whom I'll refer to as Madason from here on), give or take a few years. We know that Bianca is 2 years older than Madason. I'm gonna guess that Deborah is around the same age as Madason, and Nera is a year or two younger than Madason. So my guess for the birth order is Bianca --> Deborah --> Nera. And while the birth order between Bianca and Deborah is a bit of a toss-up, I have very good evidence implying that Bianca is older than Deborah. We know that all three of them were found left at the base of a tree (either being abandoned by their real parents, or possibly to protect them from the Order of Zugzwang due to their ancestry), where their respective adoptive parents found them. And note that while Nera and Deborah were found and adopted by the same couple, Bianca was not. I think the most likely reason for this is that Bianca was left at the tree before Nera and Deborah were. It doesn't seem fitting that either of the adoptive parents would just take one or two of the babies and leave the other(s) behind. So Bianca, who was the first-born, was left at the tree to be found by the Whitakers. And then Deborah and Nera were born sometime after and were left at the tree together to be found by the Briscoletti's. [link] [comments] |
