    I'm playing with stronger monsters, just hit the desert after picking up sylvando as a temporary memeber and I'm getting absolutely merced every fight. Everyone is level 12, I was trying to grind a bit but even trash is wiping me out. Some of these guys are hitting Veronica for 80%.

    I have to say, Dragon Quest II is awful.

    Lots of RNG that can see you losing party members and even getting wiped in one turn endgame, and really weak levelups making the process not nearly as much of a rush as it was in DQI.

    Currently quicksave spamming my head against the Belial wall before getting to the final boss. I'll break him eventually but this game is just way too reliant on RNG, worse game than DQI and definitely a lowquality NESera title. Playing on Android and even with its improvements the game has been a slog, but at this point might as well get it done.

    It's my first playthrough of DQ3, and I know these books affect the personality of party members, but what does that matter?

    Most of my experience with the series is from DQM. I have recently played the DQ1 and DQ2 though.

    I missed the recent sale for most the games as a simple result of not realizing it was a sale price, and was disappointed when the price went up. (I had planned to buy each game as I finished the last... I finished the 2nd moments before the sale ended, which is annoying).

    If they go on sale frequently, I'll wait to buy 4,5,6. If it's, say, once a year, I won't. So roughly when can I expect the next sale?

    I was playing the Demo for DQ11 for switch and I picked up a couple of medicinal herbs along the Tor Trail, bit I can;t see to use them in battle.

    Is there something obvious I'm overlooking?

    I have a question about the Dundrasilian Royalty

    Eleanor is the daughter of the King, meaning she would be the Queen and Irwin should be the Prince/husband right? So why is he the King and in charge of the Country instead of Eleanor? Even in Medieval times, a woman would have been the rightful heir of the throne so kinda vexed by this.

    Dragon Quest XI S: Crashing?

    Has anyone had issues with Dragon Quest XI S (Switch version) crashing? I've read that the demo had a crashing issue, but I'm asking about the full game. I just had the game crash on me (physical copy), and wondering if this is a common occurrence.

    Where it crashed...

    I'm in Act 2, about to go to The Battleground. Decided to go to Tickington to catch up on any quests and explore a bit. As I was leaving Tickington (stepped on the warp), the game crashed and I got thrown back to my Switch's Home screen.

    After 290+ hours, my Draconian playthrough of Dragon Quest 11 is complete

    11 has become one of my favorite games of all time and I'm somewhat sad watching the credits roll. But it is time to move on. I loved this game when it came out but now on this replay I have a newfound appreciation and love for it.

    A short list of what I did playthrough. It wasn't a full draconian, but I accomplished everything with strong monsters, no weak exp, and no Fleeing on -Best possible armor and weapons for all characters all +3 - All wheel of Harma done - all sidequests and post game bosses down - all characters have completed skill trees via seed of skill farming - broke the bank at both casinos - mini medal album complete, probably had over 150 after spending excess of elfin elixirs

    I hope we get a dragon quest 12 soon :(

    Hey! So I'm kind of new to Dragon Quest (jumped in on 2016 with 3DS por of 7) and have played most games since. I felt something so special with this series and I can't stop talking about it, I seem to be listening to any soundtrack while I work, while I sleep. And I thought I had some problem, now that I'm here I realize that Dragon Quest is so special that everyone here feels the same way. They are my personal treasures and I wouldn't sell them for any amount of money.

    I'm happy everyday of my life because I know I'll play some portion of the day, that's more than enough to keep me happy 24/7.

    I have so many games but I seem to only play overwatch and 1 Dragon quest all time, once I finish I go for another and repeat! I have almost quit any other franchise for how in love I'm with this.

    Tell me what you think makes this series so special for you.
