Recently, we tried to to the method to connect to the online servers so a friend of mine could get his DLC quests. All worked smoothly. However, DQVC won't update on our legally obtained DS cards, while it DOES update the stock on the "R4" card we used to try to see if it worked. Posted: 20 May 2020 09:19 AM PDT Hi all, I'm learning Spanish and figure that playing games in the language would be a good way to learn and practice, especially if they're text heavy. Does anyone have any thoughts on the quality of the Spanish translations for any of the recent DQ games? I'm finishing DQXI S in English right now and am thinking about starting DQVII or DQVIII in Spanish since I have a 3DS, or maybe one of the older ones via Switch/mobile. Thanks in advance! I am wondering if at the point when I go back in time, if i should put all of my other characters items in the equipment and item bags, otherwise wouldn't they not duplicate? | Is DQ6 worth the $100+ it costs to get an official copy? Posted: 19 May 2020 11:13 PM PDT Recently I've gotten into the series, and I've decided I'll play the games in order. I want to get all of the games without emulation, but man 6 specifically is really pricey. 5 is also pretty rare, but I already have it, and everything else is at least manageable. I know that 6 is considered a fan least favorite for a number of reasons, but I know it's still a good game. Is it a game worth $100+ though? I am fine with using an emulator, but when I'd have an otherwise complete collection that would be a bitter pill to swallow. This is also a very specific question, but if anyone has played the game in Japanese how complex is the language used? It goes without saying Japanese copies are cheaper, and I do read at a kindergarten level which will improve by the time I get to 6 (probably about a year from now). I'm doubtful I'll be able to get everything even if it is simpler language, but as long as I can get the gist of it I'll be fine. [link] [comments] | ||

I've played almost 4000 hands always playing double or nothing as far as possible and never made it past round 8. It's a bit surprising since most other threads I've seen said this one didn't take that long compared to the royal flush jelly and the slime quest freeze accolade, and I got both of those much quicker than this one. I wonder if those people played on PS4 or PC and the odds are not the same on switch version, or if I'm just unlucky. [link] [comments] | ||
| DQ11 Post Game - Trial Isle Boss 4 [Spoilers] Posted: 19 May 2020 07:56 PM PDT I'm having a great deal of difficulty fighting Abject Terror and Darkest Despair - I'm playing the Switch edition of the game. My characters are 80+, and i have the skills for Channel Anger-> Ladies First -> Magic Burst to start the fight off. But, even before either of the bosses act, there seems to be a <Bounce> effect on one of the bosses, meaning that Veronica's alpha strike KILLS HER OUTRIGHT. Has any one else encountered this? I'm not seeing any info on "oh this boss reflects spells, watch out" in any guides. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 19 May 2020 11:09 PM PDT This is how I got a lot of tokens from the casino. I've done my best to eliminate any observational bias. From what I can tell, it doesn't matter what slot or chair you use. Nor does it matter if the player does something like hold down R2 while it spins or use L2 instead of X to start the reels. Anyway, here's what I did. I started in Act 2 with the blue poker table. I tried the blue slots, but ran out of patience. Made enough from double or nothing to get the one-time items and left. Came back in Act 3 and I was kinda broke. I just bought some new gear and had about 8,300 gp to my name. I only had 4500 tokens. Within 2 hours I had made over 1.3 million credits. Sure it took awhile, but it worked. First, I went to the blue slots and played until I had 100k. The risk/reward with the blue slots is better to start with, since it only costs 30 tokens (90 total) to do. Then I hit the big boy slots and went nuts. Slots are the best way to go due to the Metal Time buff and potential free spins. I was skeptical at first, but it works well. I find it far more reliable than anything else. [link] [comments] | ||

Please don't just comment "you can play in any order" because I want to know what the BEST order would be.
